Has anyone (other than me) found this show as fun to watch as I have. I really cant explain my facination with it other than to watch others do a job I couldnt imagine doing. I would be heaving over the side.

I am looking for a quality protein skimmer(h.o.t.) that you have used or are currently using and would buy again. I have seached the threads on skimmers but many threads are not based on skimmers alone , just there effectiveness in the system. I am considering the cpr backpak series of skimmers...

It has infested my tank . I would like to take it in to my lfs(which they have agreed to take in trade). How would I go about removing it from the live rock and structure with out damaging it. I didnt think prying it up with a butter knife was the best option but who knows.....

Looking to add live rock to my tank since it was first set up. The tank has been established for 2 years and has approx 25#s already. I was going to do some additional landscaping . The live rock is coming from a reputable lfs . I just need to know what precautions one might take so I dont Blow...

How does one go about cleaning bubble algea off live rock. Any inhabitants that might do the job??? :confused:

Is this even a plausable food for salt water fish.(clowns) Or is this onlong the same lines as brine shrimp. I have heard many differing opinions.. Thanxs

I have set up a 55 gal FO tank. I would like to stock this tank with pecula clowns only. Is there a rule of thumb as too how many I can place in the tank. I dont want to make the mistake and overstock. Could they be added at the same time or slowly due to bio load. Thanks in advance.:happy:

bulging eye Just noticed my clarkie clowns eye has started to bulge...parameters are fine but i did a 10%+ water change anyway.He is the only fish in the tank. Filters have all been cleaned and skimmer is working flawlessly. Temp is - 80.Anyone have any thoughts??????? :scared:

I have read a few threads on this board in regards to titanium heaters. Can someone give me info on them , name brands i might want to investigate, and approx cost . I believe I am having to much fluxuation in temp and would like to level it out to a constant +/- 1 degree if thats at all...

@ the LFS today and looked at what they called a Mandarin . Is this a goby and what type of care and feeding would it require?

In a fowlr set up, other than carbon what types of media if any should ,could or would one use .

The clean up crew does a good job for the most part but i have a ? that still remains. Does anyone find themselves still doing minor front glass touch ups from algea??? Its not that I mind but i see the pics in this forum and wonder whether they do any of the clean up or am I just doing...

Was @ the LFS and noticed a Blue knuckeled hermit crab. I already should no the answer to this but will this be just as vicsious and any of the other blue legged hermits out there. This one is alot larger than most hermit (red or blue) that i have seen or purchased. Thanx for the info:happy:
