    Softies use some Ca but not much. However Coraline Algae Love Calcium, Keeping your Ca levels around 400-420 will be good for the tank, and promote good color for the tank. Water Changes on a regular basis should keep this level, if not, I use Bionic's 2 stage additions and it has worked well...

    Actually, I think the Skimmer is running at a much greater turnover then the sump. Skimmer pump at ~1100gph Sump return ~800gph

    I got a great deal on an ETSS Skimmer by AETech. It's rated 4 tanks 120-400 gal.... At present I only have a 55 (plan on upgrading to a 120 with in the year). There is not such thing as too much skimming is there??
