    Cloudy water in the morning....

    I have a nanocube 28g hqi every morning for the last week I wake up to cloudy water which clears up by the afternoon. I did a 20% water change last week and it is still the same.

    Quick cycle??

    I got my 28g nano cube hqi a couple of weeks ago. I set it up with water, sand and liverock from my 120g that I am taking down. I've had the 120 set up for about 2 years. I started the cycle with a raw shrimp and now after a small ammonia spike all my levels are good. this is only about 10 days...

    new fish

    the display is 70g and the fuge is 70g with a 40g sump, an asm g3 skimmer, 250 w MH over the fuge and 500w MH over the display all bulbs are 20k. I've had the potters for a month now.

    well this is the rest of the story...... About 3 days after that photo was taken the rear seal went out and I came home to about 50 gallons of saltwater on my carpet. I happened to have an acryllic tank in my garage. So I dug out that tank, cleaned it out, and saved about half of my livestock...

    there is a product called bio-spira made by marineland labs that will cycle your tank almost overnight........ it is pretty expensive but it works.
