Thanks for the comments everyone. Yup, that's a Canary Wrasse, awesome fish. Fish: 2 Occelaris Clowns 1 Canary Wrasse 1 Watchman Goby My favorite corals are my Monti Cap and the giant elephant shrooms (they are about 13 inches wide when fully open!). The clowns host in the shrooms.

If he doesn't mess with your tank, you can keep him. If not, trade him for something at your local fish store.

Cowries in general aren't reef safe. I'm not sure if it's going to hurt your clam, could probably just annoy. I'd worry more about your corals though...

What shape are they? Pyramid? If they're pyamid shaped, more than likely they're Limpet Snails, harmless.

Peppermints are usually a hit or miss. I'd say it's like a 30% chance that they will eat aiptasia. Even when they do, they won't touch the bigger Aiptasia. I was lucky, I bought 3 Peppermints online and they just so happen to be the most ruthless Aiptasia and bristle worm killers ever.

If you're worried about overgrowing, just place the GSP on your sand bed. It will grow itself onto the sand bed but it's way easy to 'peel' off. This way, you'll have frags to trade/sell without having to use a razor blade.

This is what the fish are doing: The Angel looks to the Damsel and they knod their heads at each other. Then, they simultaneously yell.... "GROPE ME!!!" Ok, maybe not exactly like that. Your fish are waiting for a cleaning. Fire Shrimp don't proactively clean like Scarlett Skunk Cleaner...

I would worry more about the BTA harming the red leg hermits :)

They're ornamental and add color to your tank. No real needs other than some planktonic food. Also, they don't like a lot of light (not that they hate the lights, just make sure algae doesn't start growing on it).
