    how to feed frozen foods

    i put the cube in a dish with some tank water... then, after it thaws i drain the water/food into a brine shrimp net to get the food away from the gross water. then i put the food into some new tank water and suck up that with a turkey baster... then i feed my fishies :D

    hmm... your temp sounds a bit low... i would try to raise it to about 80-82 degrees. that might be your problem if everything else sounds fine.

    yeah, i did some reading on microvert... i guess it works fine, but it says to only use it when you have to... and to spot feed what you need. i am assuming that my nitrates would raise if i used it frequently.
