I would try to either re-prime your pump or change your tubing. I have the same pump and it has been one of the best I have every had.

What size of PH (gph) do I need for my 10 gal nano? Debating whether to go FOWLR or reef. Just got a new Orbit lighting system. Total of 80W with 2 lunar lights. Should be enough to support reef.

The PH I just got is 295GPH. Is this too much for my tank??????

Just added a Maxi-Jet 1200 to my 75 gal. I also am running a Fluval 404, Sea-Clone 150, and a UV Sterilizer. How many PH do I need? Not sure if I'm going reef or FOWLR....also upgraded to a JEBO 48" 220W lighting system. Not the best of anything but better than nothing...LOL! Any...

That brown stuff is most likely diatoms, which usually signals the tail-end of the cycle. The next thing to add is the 'cleaning crew'. Make sure you check your levels before you add anything. Just remember, if you think you are going slow.......slow down.:happyfish

I agree! We must shop at the same LFS. They are afraid since the Lionfish is venomous. What a shame....

I also ordered one from this site. After acclimation, it buried itself and was out of sight in about an hour. Every once in a while you can see what looks like a feeder tube coming to the surface. It was cool to watch him bury himself, though.:happyfish

They are hooked together. The water runs through the softner and then through the RO/DI unit.

But I have a Culligan water softner and a RO/DI unit under the sink. It produces a little over 1.5 gal of water an hour. Would this set-up be OK for my tank.......:notsure:

What is the difference between pre-cured and cured exactly?

Thanks for all of the input. I do the test by the book. I get my pamphlet out each time I test the water and follow the directions step by step. I noticed I had a typing error which I have corrected--the ammonia levels are NOT 7.8 but .50. Does this make the the water seem a little better...
