I have just lost ANOTHER Zoas colony to my green star polyps.... can I stop this? Is there anything they wont swarm? I like them alot (I have 3 different variations of color) but they just grow like mad and smother my zoas.

so, going from my 55G reef to a 24g deluxe nano can I take my sand from the fuge and use it as substrate? its 5" DBS in the fuge. only want like 1.5" in the nano. can I take water from my tank, and the LR from my tank and jsut keep running...no new cycle? need pointers on this move...otherwise...

i just fragged my toadstool, and the frags are starting to grow....they look just like that right now....give it time and the top will grow to look more like what you are expecting.

MYWAY the 3hr comment.... My roomate is an Aquaculturist and we measured the PH absorbtion time. If you have a kiddie pool, then yes, obviously more water volume would increase the amount of PH that can be "absorbed" Just as a measure for all though.....40lbs of rock, in a 50gallon rubbermaid...
