yeah i think that we arent goin to be getting another one any time soon, not til the 6 line is out and we can get the new sump completed. sucks cuz he was 30 bucks! ugh. we joked that the shrimp had a nice spendy meal. they cleaned it up really good. at least we dont have to get it out. still...

It would depend on how you stock the tank and your feeding habits. If it's not over-stocked and there isn't a whole lot of food waste it should be okay. but why not just buy the larger canister? The price difference between the sizes isn't that big from what i can see.

the particulate is super fine almost non existent. could be from the salt mix. mixed it for an hour.
