I found a single polyp starting to grow on some LR in my tank several months after purchasing the piece of rock, and after it had been practically burried for at least a month.. I reaquascaped about a month ago and had this come out of nowhere and sprout 2 babies since then!

something i picked up last night:

A friend and I were half drunk one night and came up with a new term for a fish, invert, coral, etc. that goes missing in your tank.. MRA = Missing Reef Animal Could be used for any of our marine life.. For example, here is my recent MRA:

Just a few pics from around the tank.. Picked this up yesterday: Picked this up a few months back.. The little guy is alive and doing well!! Got this for $5 .. Didnt have half as many polyps when I got it, but it sure is jammin now! I got this in a trade.. its really startin to turn blue...

do they just not pay attention at all to daylight savings time here?? I just noticed that my posts are an hour behind!!

Last night I saw about 100 of these things.. Tonite, there was more like 1000!!! I think they are mysid shrimp.. Not sure where they came from.. The only shrimp I have more then one of in my tank is peppermint shrimp.. Other then that, I have one coral banded.
