    Thanks guys, I’ll take it slow, only adding a few lbs, and ensuring that the rock is fully cured, just to be safe I will QT the new rock w/ the bucket and power head it sounds easy and brainless. Thanks again for everyone’s advise

    Peppermint shrimp?

    I have about 6 emerald crabs and 7 peppermint shrimp, and they get along fine, I also have a zoos snake and they have never touched or bothered it. Although I also have a big emerald crab who ate a cleaner shrimp. Keep in mind that i have a 150+ gallon tank.

    I have always wanted a puffer, but i dont want it to eat my coral has any one had luck with a puffer and not eating coral or inverts? I am looking at a Porcupine Puffer, but im not commited if there is a better one to purchase for a reef. :notsure:

    I'm glad to hear its been done. Do you think my friend should watch for some specific behaviour or should he assume they'll be fine since there haven't been problems? He's had them in the tank for severl months, do problems start later in life?
