Stay away from Kalkaswasser! Use sea chem products and your tank should be perfect. Reef Builder, Reef Advantage, Reef Calcium, and Reef Plus. You can't go or should I say grow wrong!
My wife just gave me a green open brain for our aniversary. Its been a couple of weeks and it seems to be really thriving....knock on wood. I have heard that lighting does not really matter... VHO's at least or PC's. I have mine about half way up in my tank under 2 160 watt URI VHO's. I use...

I have tons of them in my sump and on the bottom of some of my live rock. I am pretty sure they are some sort of tunicate. They are beneficial filter feeders and should be welcomed in your tank. It means things are well.
I have a couple of distinct patches. It grows just like coraline and it's a rusty orange to dark brown color. If anyone knows anymore info on this stuff please give me the links or info. Gracias!
What if any, type of food do you feed corals and other invertebrates? And how often do you feed them? I use all seachem supplements but it seem to me they need a food source on top of the supplements.

I recently purchased a green open brain coral. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these? Are they hardy and do they require anything special outside of excellent water conditions and lighting?
