Could be a leak, just keep an eye on it and see just how fast it builds up. More than likely it's just drips from water changes and moving stuff around.

If the tank is up against a wall stack up the rock in a stadium bleacher like fashion using the back glass for support. Try to make terraces. It is to much trouble trying to clean the back glass in a reef tank. Let coraline build up on it. The only glass I clean in my tank is the front glass...

I'm sorry it is spelled cephalopod. I doubt seriously that this animal is in the same family. Cuttlefish and Octopi are in this family.

Put a powerhead near the surface to break the surface tension. It will cause all that stuff to pass through your filter system and your invertebrates.

I had a cleaner shrimp suddenly die. My peppermint is doing fine and so are my inverts, fish and other crabs. The levels are fine, but does anyone know an avg lifespan of these animals or what their full size is?
