scrape the algae off the front , leave it alone on the sides and back(depending on which part of your tank you view everything from).i clean the front of my tank eveey 2 or 3 days. once that stuff get established its hard to get off. cleaning it all off my starve your clean up crew.;)

i have an anemone(big ,brown with green and pink tips, not sure what type but my maroon clown loves it)has move onto the rocks which house my yellow leather and green finger corals. they do not like him being there at all. :mad: he has been there about three days now and seems to like it...

i have three feather dusters in my tank and one of them is either changing locatons or i don't know what ! it totaly came out of its tube and moved across the sand. is this normal or is it dooms day ????:confused:

sounds to me .. you may have received a couple of hawian strawberry crabs in your bag (those would be the red ones:D :D :D ) i have one in my tank its about 2 years old and has not bothered a thing that i know of.

sorry i have no pics, but i'm kind of confused on weather or not i have a open or closed brain coral. i've read that an open brain is in a figure 8 shape and a closed hase more of a flower shaped base. mine looks to have a figure 8 shape but with more than 2 curves like maybe 2 or 3 open brains...

I WOULD KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON ALL INHABITANTS AND RUN AND GET A COPPER TEST KIT BEFORE GOING BEFORE WORRYING TOO MUCH. DO A WATER CHANGE A.S.A.P. GOOD LUCK !!!!!

i've purchased the "shaving brush plants " from swf.com (2 weeks)and they seem to be doing great. it adds something different and will hopefully help the nitrates. they do need very strong lighting. some of the plants that were too close to the l.r. with little lighting are dying off.

i put a green metalic open brain in my tank a week ago and it has not opened up at all yet. it seems to come out alittle at night but totally retreats in the day. it was fully open ath the l.p.s.:confused: :confused: i have 4 p.c's (65watts each) and 2 -175 watt m.h. in a 120 corner tank

dvs... i have a 120 gal . corner acrylic ( 2 years a reef). i love it though is scrathes really easy. the bends in the tank are the hardest to clean just keep up on it. good luck:)

doodle1800...... good one ..... i would of done it for ya but i traded all the stars i had to the lfs. for lr. i don't know who made out in that deal:rolleyes: as fast as it was growing in my tank i should of sold it outright.:eek:

nicky... yes it looks to be that one, but the colors on mine are much more vivid. maybe the picture just did not load right. thanks bdhough... are they common ???? i've never seen them anywhere!

IN EVERYBODIES OPINION , WHAT ARE THE MAIN SUPPLEMENTS THAT REEF TANKS CONTAINING A VARIETY OF SOFT AND STONEY CORALS NEED TO SURVIVE. I HAVE MAINLY SOFT CORALS , MUSHROOMS AND POLYPS. I USE B-IONIC #1 & #2 , REFF SUCCESS - IODINE & STRONTIUM. SHOULD THERE BE MORE.
