a week ago i put l/r in my tank(about 35 lbs in a 120gal)i don't see any movement of anykind on the rock.how will i know if its still live? i also put in about 40lbs of live sand over a very small amout of cc

i have a grey angel in my soon to be 120gal reef. is there anything coral,mushroom or polyp wise that will survive this beast.?or do you think i should just x the angel?

u definatly need ball valve somewhere either on you overflow pipe or your return.u can even lengthen your return hose if your return is to fast.this will slow down the head power.

i also did the same thing OUCH!!!!!!! if you know someone with a hand parifen(spelling)(hot wax) put your hand in that and peel the wax off. most of the needles should come out.....by the way the pain will go away!!!!!

does anybody know where i can get a valve that will shut my r/o unit completely off when the sump valve reaches its limit? the problem i'm having is the waste part of the r/o is still producing water.

with that size of a tank i woould work with small wrasses or maybe even some gobbies.they will dart in and out of your rock and eat the food other fish cannot get to.pigme angels are good too.

i'm in the process of going from fish only to reef. i've put about 10lbs of lr/40 lbs ls. what chemicals should i use in my tank other than just trace elements to build up to a full reef? my tank is a 120.

I had a cow fish in my 125 and it didn't harm a thing in the tank.As a matter in fact it was the talk of the town.I then added a coral beauty and it ate the horns off the cow.You think it looked funny with horns you should of seen it with the stubs !!!!
