A damsel that has been with you for 3 years!!! I'll do some water change immediately. They are hardy, but if it is not happy and not eating, boy, in a few day's time, your nitrate level will go up.
From my experience, shrimps can survive in "polluted" water but it is when they molt that the problem comes in. In order for them to molt properly, water must be good. I had 2 cleaner shrimps that died because they couldn't complete the molting process.
Mexican Turbos die all the time. They are so stupid that they can't flip themselves over after they topple. I leave them in there too. Don't want to kill any tube worms or critters that might be in the shell.

set up a shrimp tank. 2 fireshrimps, not too much rocks so that they can't hide, some sea plants, 2 small snails, and maybe 4-5 little marine shrimp, Palaemonetes vulgaris.
I remember reading somewhere that puffers live in fresh water when they are young and migrate to salt water when they are big enough not to be eaten whole but most fish.
My LFS has 2 longhorn cow fish right now. They are the most adorable thingy!
I know they need at east 125g tank and will release toxin when they die which might kill all the inhabitants. But has anyone kept one or is keeping one right now? What are your experiences with it?
Thanks

It is best to have both. But again, depends on what creatures you have in the tank. LR also provide places for litle creatures to hide.
Only problem I see is your "CC base". Not that they are not good, but youll need more maintenance on CC. They tend to trap dirts and food particles. And the cleaner crews can't get to them cos the grain size of the CC are too big for them to handle.
Since you do not have too much creatures in...

I'm from Singapore. Everytime I go back for vacation, have the urge to buy buy buy!!!!!
And what kind of clown are you planning to add? My tomato clown is the king in the tank, even though he is slightly smaller than the 2 agressive dominoes.
