The comment, I wrote a "puppy" reference but pulled it down and while pondering, you posted, lol.
When I saw we were thinking along the same lines, it confirmed that my comment was likely in poor taste.....but good company

I need a nap.

Someone asked for some grandkid pictures...the thread is still about puppies. I would also like to put my oldest grandchild in a high tower protected from the world...I would not allow her to wear cloths like that but I'm just Nana and have no say. Alyssa is either 15 or 16, I lose count.
Meowzer, Texting is what kids do today, and it never stops.

Update and more pictures
They all got their first shots and a wellness check. Vet said they are all super healthy and couldn't find a thing wrong with any of them. LOL...we loaded 4 at a time, and two for the last trip in my laundry basket with wheels, and put them in the car with pillows stuffed under the seat so they couldn't crawl under...it worked. We got them all chacked, biggest pup is 9 pounds and some ounces and smallest was an ounce off from 7 pounds. At 6 weeks thats pretty good.
Pictures...here ya go...
First 4 are busy eating

The following are all different pups...LOL Puppy #1

AWWWW they are so cute!
Yeah and just as stinky..LOL
I'm so tired I could faint...that's too many puppies to try and take all at once. Now if I have any pups past 8 weeks they need more shots. They just got a parvo vaccination today and were checked for worms...found none, for which I was surprised, they eat their poop if we aren't quick enough...eeewwww....and the vet listened to their heart, checked the hips and weighed them all...I have another ad going out the last week of October...I hope they sell and all find good homes.

AAAHHH....I had to be crazy to let my mother talk me into puppies. Tamerah already has a date with the vet for her to be spayed.
The last two weeks of having puppies are going to be interesting. They are so much bigger, and they are making much bigger messes. LOL, we keep old towels on the floor and wash them twice to three times a day, just before feeding, and right after...there we are, standing guard with paper towels to do pick up duty, my mother on one side of the kitchen, and myself on the other. Hollywood should work in a puppy routine in a comedy sitcom. They think fathers changing baby is funny....two old ladies is hilarious. The puppies try and steal the paper towel as we try and clean up, so there we are gagging and picking up while pushing about three puppies away so they don't eat it before we can get to it, most times we are standing over the puppy waiting for their deposit, the new owners will have no trouble seeing that it's time to take the new pupopy outside....eeewwww.
Towels are the only thing absorbant enough, weewee pads are too expensive and newspaper leaves print on the floor that the puppies make a horrible mess with, ripping it up....If we don't have towels on the floor, the puppies absorb the peepee with their furry little bodies, then we get the wash the sticky smelly puppies, but drying them off is fun, and it's the only time they are truely cuddly. It's a good thing they are cute, it's part of natures survival strategy. They also think it's funny to nip at our toes, or grab our pant legs and have us try and make it to the exit gate...without stepping on a puppy. We sneak into the kitchen when they are napping if we want any food.

Why not set up a little puppy barrier outdoors and take them out there a few times a day? It would probably be helpful to selling them if you can say they are potty trained.

A peek at my day...
I have a gated porch in the back, with a fenced in yard, if they were born in the spring they would be outside. The problem is before they were big enough, they could escape under the porch ...now they are finally big enough to not fit through that little space that streches the entire length of the porch... Today it's in the 50s and winds at 40 mph and gusts up to 70mph ...so we can't just leave them outside (oh how I wish) LOL...No way can we grab 10 puppies to try and potty train, while one is going, another squats...why I end up with 12 piles...
when I only have 10 puppies, I guess a couple are extra good at pooping.... the floor around the area where they poop, I have no towels, it looks like something is leaking, like the roof or a pipe, it's almost ankle deep....I mean I look over the gate and puppies are fast asleep and no poop and no puddles...10 minutes later..... Then I here the sound of puppies growling in play...then I peek in again and OMG we have to grab a mop to swab our way through, and the puppies are so glad to see us that they all come running at once to be greeted, and in that process maul us with icky paws.
I tell you if I was watching it happen to someone else I would be rolling on the floor laughing (but not in that room) . Then comes the battle of the poop....they like paper towels, and they try and grab them as we are trying to clean up. It doesn't work to try and feed them at that point because they too excited to have us there to play with. Today my mother left to get her hair done and go to the Walmart store, she really needed a break....I had to do this alone. After it's all cleaned up, and the paper towels game has ended they are ready to eat. I put two feeding dishes out and the puppies go for it. I can then rinse out the mop and redo the floor area with a little bleach.
After they eat, the poop begins again...after that, a few more puddles and they are finally all peepee and poopooed out. ..... and then the battle of the broom begins, as I try and sweep up the food that is now all over the one side of the kitchen. I pick up the towels for this chore.... I have a trick. It's is only three puppies who like the broom, so I swipe with the broom and put it down away from my pile of food...they run for the broom and I lift it into the air and bring it down for another swipe, and before they can run to the pile of swept up food... I bring it back down in an empty space to let them go for it ...eventually I win the broom game and get the extra puppy food cleaned up. Then I clean the floor once more with a little water and bleach, put down fresh towels and start another load of towels in the wash.
Puppies play a bit, and one by one lay back down to sleep. I have about 4 to 6 blessed hours before we have to do it again. Just enough time to let the ibuprofen work for my backach, and take another shower. The day begins at 3 to 4am and ends at 10:00 to 11:30pm

I need help.... PLEASE!
People are coming to the house tomorrow and all next week to pick their puppy out...they put a $100.00 deposit to be able to choose early and get their pick. I can't find 10 collars with different colors, and even the ones I did find were not less than $4.00 each at Walmart. I don't want to spend $40.00 just to tag a puppy. So I had the bright idea of leather straps and beads with the last name of the buyer...one lady picked her puppy today...1 hour later, while on poopoo duty the tag was bitten in half...I gathered all the beads so none were eaten, but obviously name tag on a leather strap isn't going to work.
I THINK, I HOPE I found her little girl and put a dap of nail polish on her paw...but that is on hair and I don't know how long it will last or even if it's safe...how can I tag the puppies?
