i know how you feel mboswell. it sucks.. eventually over time ppl will start replying to your posts. what i usually do is when i dont get any replies, i reply to my own thread with bump and it is right at the top of the new posts lists. try it.
ca man your tank is looking great. post some pics when you get your new lights. i have a 150 in the process of sanding down its stand, i might have to steal the 2 tone stand coloration from you. idk if you did, but if you can, stick some live rock in your sump for some natural filtration.
what else are you putting in there? cough lionfish cough

^^ thanks a lot! yeah i love it but the pictures dont do the red the justice it should. its actually a really nice cherry gloss but the pics make it ugly lol. ill take a look at your thread after this post k

yeah i have about 20lbs of rubble in my 1st chamber after the filter pads. i havent had one bit of trouble with params so i think ima be good :)
i was thinking a lion of some sort but i may have to delete the humu if i do go that way, so i got to do some deciding haha

arg im having the worst luck with fish. feeding time i put a lil piece of nori in for the foxface and it went up and started to eat it. my puffers decided they wanted a share of it but the fox started flaring. puffers then go crazy and start attacking it so the fox starts zipping around the tank crashing into stuff and got wedged between 2 rocks and thrashed around until i was able to get it out. within a hour he was a gone...ugg

down a blenny, damsel and now the fox...all from my puffers.
at least they are happy

well today my dad came home with 2 korella 4's

within an hour the sand was soooo much cleaner. haha and my puffers are having a good time surfing the current too

yeah they have great flow and i like how its kinda pulseish i guess lol
im just still frustrated because of the foxface

that was nuts with the fox. as long as you really love those puffers, then oh well. But that would have probably been the last straw for me..

aww thats sucks that foxface was one good looking fish, hopefully the trigger can put the puffers into line. i dont know if you have mentioned it but what kind of trigger are you getting?

Dang, that's a bummer about the Foxface... Those puffers sure are more aggressive than I ever would have thought....

thanks for so much responce.
today i found an egg sac and my fat puffer..isnt fat anymore

this may of been the reason for the agressive ness but im not sure. im going to get a humu or SFE over the weekend, my qt tank is nice and clean so im on a hunt haha. ill post pictures when i get them and try to get some of the eggs
maybe ill try another foxface later on, but for now trigger or SFE

yeeeepp. im guessing none will survive or even hatch because they're supposed to be layed in freshwater. but idk
..we've had koi eggs hatch and grow in our pond, but never have i done anything with the in tank type thing. im just going to leave them alone and if they hatch they hatch. most likely be eaten or stuck in the filter but im not sure if theyll even make it at all because the salt so idk

what u may wanna do man, if you wanna raise the puffer babies, is check up on how to raise em, if you can find any literature on it, and see what all it would take, and then maybe set up a specialized breeder tank and go for it :p

yeah i was kinda just planning on letting them be. if it works it works and if ppl wanted them id mail them to ppl after they got to a decent size. most likely theyll be eaten or filtered out though so eh idk

so the eggs are still in the lil bundle and kiwis just chillin by them. the only time he moves is for feeding. other than that he stays about a foot from them.
anyone know the typical time it takes to hatch?..if the even do
