Well...I am excited for you! Although I would add the rock first, and make sure you dont get a cycle. Then slowly add those corals because you need for your biological filtration to adjust with each new addition. But...whoohoo..you can get started!

oh noes, dont do the xenia, you'll regret it later on!
Why do you think i'm going to regret doing xenia? I don't mind if it grows rapidly and spreads like weeds, thats what fragging is for
I REALLY want to try it for myself, alot of other people on this site are using them.

keep them to their own rock and away from the rest of your rocks. you'll eventually want much better looking corals. if you want some nice xenia, get some blue ones. or better yet, get some lightning clove polyps

Thank you! Will do on the LR

So, my dad purchased me some LR, not much but they look nice. I purchased two anemones for myself, and had a couple bucks left so I grabbed a turbo snail. I'm not completely sure of what type they are so could someone help me out? One is white/yellow with bright purple dots on the tips of the tentacles, the other is more of a pinky/brown/yellow colour with bright purple dots on the end of the tentacles and a bright green mouth. Thanks guys!!

Also wanted to say, they only half closed when I was placing them from my gloves, and open immediatly after I stopped touching them. Right now they are open and bright, and they ate some fish food that landed in their tentacles too. They are small about 3/4 of an inch across the disk on both of them.

Another, thanks meowzer, I remember he said what they were, but he didn't say condy I wouldn't have bought them if they were condys.

What color is the foot?
OK...NOT condylactis....NOT reef haitian anemone
I do not think it is a sebae.....

Maybe somthing useful, when the tentacles retract they shrink significantly and lose their thickness they become very purple and when they come back out the tentacles are like a long balloon filling up? sorry for that complicated description!

pink tipped condys (condylactis) are also referred to as haitian reef. The one on the left sure looks like one.
The Haitian Reef Anemone, also known as the Pink-Tip Condy, is found near Haiti, in lagoons or on inner reefs, as individuals, or loose groups. It has a red column with long, tapering, pink-tipped tentacles. The tentacles may occasionally develop a bubble-like appearance. Generally it likes to bury the base in the sand or into the crevice of a rock for protection.
