Yup, it was the yellow spot, but I found another just like it locally. I have no idea what happened to him. I noticed he was not in his normal spot. Before he died, he spit out this mucous clumpy thing.
Rock is in, pics when it clears. Added some live bacteria so it may take a bit. We are trying to decide how we want to do a light fixture. May go with a wooden project box from Michael's for the base.

This is going to have 10 stripes in it. Right now it only has 2... one on either side. I have to wait until the second batch comes in to go any further.

The shadow boxes are nice and deep.

It's 2 inches deep. There were a lot of choices of sizes and depths.... at 40% off at Michaels. :) We had already been to Lowe's and were going to buy a table saw and some awesome crown molding to make something similar. Can't beat the ease and price of the shadow box.... 15 bucks. They had all the different stains of wood.

How much were the led strips?
My husband is a Components Engineer.... he has "connections" so I'm not sure what the going rate is for them or how easy they are to get. The have adhesive backs so they just stick right on there.

The LEDs will be here tomorrow... the project continues.

Actually, it's already set up with rock but I need the lights to take a picture.

We go to get him today!
Playing use to be his full time gig, but with kids he had to get a guaranteed pay job. He's a brilliant engineer so it was a good shift.
