no my shame didnt die! ive kept him alive off the salmon mix and the snails by handfeeding it. its sad one of its claws is bent out the one it uses to open the snails. im getting the tank as soon as i go off the boat costs a lot to just ride out to the mainland. it costs 200$ just to get off this island so its not something we can just do if i need to get the tank. its going to happen soon though so dont worry. lol this has been a wierd week for me. my moms friend just offered me her tortoise. all the suplies hes really cool

lol i know right???? im on nantucket island off the coast of hyannis 28 miles away. yeah we are on an island so we should get a boat. right now we are just get my older sis thru college. maybe in a couple years tho. $200 for roundtrip srry.

lol not hawaii! massachusetts LOL. i go diving sometimes hear. the visibility sucks tho. we get tropicals from the gulf stream tho. that means puffers, angels, jacks, files, and even boxfish.

actually its pretty nice. in the summer it gets so hot and in the winter it gets really cold. i hate summers cuz its when the tourists come...

how do u think the visability is in the chesapeke even though i dont dive there i heard its nasty. damn literers and farmers that use fertilizer! and u should see the inner harbor its disgusting the water is puke green and theres trash everywhere

a sump? i didnt know you actually needed those, i thought the powerheads and filter would produce enough oxygenation and flow. but im kindof a newb to building tanks i guess lol.

so im going off this weekend for sure. ill be back tues. with pics im also stopping at an lfs in new hampshire which has a HUGE basement full of fish. luckily my grandpa is a fish maniac just like me so its like a 30min drive from their house hopefully some good birthday/christmas presents lol
