so your getting water in a bucket and throwing it on the newspaper? why dont you put a powerhead shooting upward toward the rock.

the water guy is coming today... we didnt want to transport 125 gallons of water lol.. at least this way the sand stays wet and the rock stays moist too.

I'm like totally jealous of your tank! Love the cherry and the size of it! I think my next tank will be very similar! And yeah i'll be hangin out too! Take a pic of the cloudiness so we can all imagine what it will look like!

thanks for tagging along too.. the tank got its water last night and its surprisingly already clear for the most part...
ETA: PICTURES!!

we got this rock for a steal... its fiji cured rock for $500 for 130+lbs!!

its alot nicer looking in person.. the lighting really makes the rock look blah. IRL there is alot of purple. plus the glass is dirty and the water hasnt really cleared all the way yet either... oh and we did put the backround on the tank as well
sump.

Very nice scape. One suggestion please get the power strips up and out of the way of any water spills and don't forget the drip loops.

gorgeous. Are you happier with the longer 125 instead of the box shaped 140?
yeah, actually.. i love the shape of it, once it clicked fish swim diagonally it made more sense to get a long tank and ditch the extra 15gal then to have all that height

what lights you got? and pics!

we had to re-do the rocks.. they all fell over on the right side when i touched them lol... i got just some coral life 50/50 bulbs but they made a world of a difference in color. Once I move the rocks around the way we like them (might even remove about 50lbs) Ill post new pics... now what to do with the excess rock, hmmm... lol.. i have some space to take up in our smaller tank thats for sure. I also ----'d two powerheads, ill post the stats on them later.. and i found a huge magfloat for pretty cheap there too. In the next couple days we will receive them.

Only about an inch deep.. should we pick up another bag or two? (considering the size of our tank at least two bags right?)
