Now I am trying to channel my strong grandma for my 17 year old who has crossed pathes with a controlling, a-hole of a male. Amazing that these guys are still being spawned/raised by other strong women, but its true. The are crazy psycho nut jobs that will get worse with age. So find what makes YOU happy. No control. Just trust and respect for the partnership that you need.

It baffles me how people have to have their own way. I fail to see how having a bullied broken spouse would be fulfilling. I want someone to challenge me, not acquiesce to my every demand.

My wife asks me before she spends the money SHE earns

Her finances were pretty screwed up when we first got together. I straightened it out pretty quick and she figures I am a super genius (Wile E Coyote voice) We talk before making bigger purchases or making plans. It just clicks with us. We have never had a serious fight in the 15 years we've been together. Thing is she has little lines in the sand I have enough sense not to cross

teriyaki shark????......um...hmmm ewww.

actually, i think my "double secret probation" teriyaki sauce is just plain GOOD! it's not all thick, and sickly sweet like most recipes or bottled stuff is. most of the thresher shark i've seen in the stores has looked pretty poor lately, and you almost never see mako anymore, altho it's good on ahi (yellowfin tuna) too! i wonder if it's good on Atlantic lionfish...

Renee's french onion soup is to DIE for...yum-OH!

They do not work against her contacting anybody else. I had one out. Crazy ass chick called everybody I knew everyday.

Yes, now go get a restraining order on that loony before she does something dangerous...You can always call her fiancé and give him a heads up on the crazy he is about to loop around his neck…also change your phone number and warn any future dates you are being stalked so they have a heads up.
If the girl you like has any brains and likes you as much as you think…she will come around.

Never been a huge fan of shark, not that it tastes bad, just if it just tastes too much like chicken for 10X the price. The texture is different, more like stringy. I prefer the tuna, trouts, and gulf catches.

Blue Shark is really good and used to be cheap but once it caught on it's right up there with swordfish now.

We make it with Ahi as well. The shark has to be fresh and we only buy it from a couple of places. The stuff at the supermarket is plain nasty.
Can't eat it very often.... shark is not that good for ya.

Do you know if your shark is local or imported? My seafood place down here has Moro, displayed on ice. I'm assuming it's fresh from the Gulf, but I've never heard shortfin Mako referred to Moro till I noticed it there a few weeks ago. And googling it, I only see "Moro" referred to stuff that's imported from Indonesia, etc. Not interested in supporting an Indonesian shark trade, but if it's local caught I really want to try.

we kind of live by the "fish are friends not food" therory. My kids were raised with fish in their lives.......they can't do it.
I don't care for fish and in the last 10 years my hubby has become serverly allergic to seafood. So it all works.

Yeah you really need to check that. I live in a shrimping Mecca. And I still see a lot foreign shrimp.

Tilapa are fed with their own ****....probably should avoid that fish for health reasons :p I got no complaints about salmon and the good fats in salmon are among the best in foods!
I'm another that can't eat fish if it tastes like fish and that pretty much means all fish to me. I hate shrimp/crab/lobster too...so gross.
I do eat tuna--sometimes straight from the can. Also, fried grouper here is a big deal and doesn't taste like fish at all.....although I don't know how hard that is to get since the oil spill.
