I'm still reading and trying to get as much knowledge as I can before I start my tank.
Thanks for reading. Now I'm just trying to figure out what my next fish is going to be. I keep debating with myself.

Can't go wrong with the Koralia's, I LOVE THEM!!! I would go with the #3's though, that's what I have, one on each end, and then my return has two loc lines coming back over the overflow and then a "Y" on each one. Two of them are pointing behind my rockwork and the other two are pointing down at the rock, towards the front. My Koralias are almost going straight across, but because of the wide flow it's giving a good agitation to the surface of the water.
I have the #2 for mixing my saltwater.

Well, I think my next fish is going to be a pair of Bangaii Cardinals (or Diamond Goby) if my lfs has them. This will give me more time to think about the Yellow-faced Jawfish (still not sure on him). As far s corals I will probably add zoas first. But I will be QTing every thing that comes in, so that means I will have to take a break from fish for a few weeks if I decide to add corals. I'm thinking after the Cardinals go in I'll be itching for my first zoas and will probably get some at that time. But again, my corals will also be in QT for at least 3 weeks before going into the DT. I know, long process..........BUT I'm determined to do everything I can to keep any parasites or disease out of my tank.

If I were you I would definately get a jawfish, but just get one to avoid and fights. I will without a doubt be getting one for my tank (cant choose between the pearly or thie tiger). They are so cool how they live in a burrow and I have read that they are usually the tank clown. :hilarious

Ya, I think I might do just one like you said. But I will have to wait, as I now have two Bangaii Cardinals and a Diamond Goby!
After acclimating for a couple of hours they are now in the QT. If everyone stays healthy they will be in the DT in three weeks, maye four for extra measure.
(Yes, pics are coming, had the lights off for a while and now they actinic are on. As soon as I turn the 10,000K on I will take a few shots.)

Here are the pics of my new fish, now in QT, and pending no illness will be in the DT in three to four weeks.

Looks awsome. Are you going to start hypo right away with these new fish or just wait and hope they are healthy?

Well, lowering and rasing the salinity was a pain to be truthful. So I really don't want to do it unless I have to. So I think I'm going to hold off and see how they do.

Congrats. does your goby eat food. or is it really picky and only will eat stuff out of your sand? if it is picky, you should put a little thing of sand in there. thats what i did! looks great.

Ya, I'm thinking about it. I put some mysis shrimp in and the Cardinals went after it like crazy :cheer: , the goby was inside the rock and wouldn't come out but did move pretty fast at times, so I think he was getting what food was floating inside. I'll have to see if I can put a small bowl of sand in there for him.

Does misis shrimp come is dry flakes or is it a frozen food? Can you get it at a LFS?

It's frozen small cubes. Got it at my lfs. I tried feeding my Cardinals this morning with flake and then pellets, wouldn't touch the stuff. But put in the Mysis Shrimp and they went crazy.

Not sure if mine are male or female yet, to small to tell. BUT, in looking at them this morning I think I do have a pair, as one has a square jaw that's larger than the other one, so I'm assuming that one is a male. But I'll have to keep a close eye on them and if they start to fight I'll have to take one back and try another. So far so good though.
