I think it will be like another OJ thing where most everyone will see her as a murderer but she can never be tried again for it.

She is a murderous sl*t. Unfortunately, she is a smart, murderous sl*t. There was just no physical evidence to convict her. In my opinion the fact that she waited a month to tell anyone her baby was missing and then her body was found is enough to convict the murderous sl*t, but I (and people like me apparently) wasn't on the jury.

Couldn't they at least find her guilty of neglect, she never even reported the child missing because she was too busy running around and acting like a fool instead of looking for her. Maybe she didn't deliver the killing blow, (I wasn't on the jury) but she certainly didn't protect the child from harm or even cared if she was alive or dead. She is guilty of not caring enough to take care of her, that's what neglect is.
My sister’s toddler...opened the front door that they didn't know she could open, got out and walked across a busy street while her dad slept.....they got hit with neglect charges big time and nearly lost custody while the authorities decided on what to do. That child by the Grace of God was fine.
Casey's little child was found dead, Momma didn't take care of her, drowned in the pool. I can't imagine if my baby was dead, that I would go get a tattoo and party. Something is very wrong with that girl; they should at least sterilize her to protect any future kids from having her as a mother.

I will say this, because I watched the while case, I knew she was going to get off on the murder charges. The defense did a very good job to plant the seed of reasonable doubt. Even if she really didn't kill her daughter, the sheer volume of neglect is hopefully enough to haunt her for the rest of her life.
It's disgusting that people like this can procreate while others struggle so much to do so.

I highly doubt she will even think twice about it....monsters like her don't usually have consciences which you need in order to be haunted by an action :(

What really annoys me is her lawyer is going to be proclaimed a suuupaaar genius. That guy got lucky as hell. He laid out a scenario at the beginning he couldn't prove. Had the prosecution done a decent job she would have been found guilty of the lesser charge. She obviously did something wrong but going for first degree was a huge mistake, they just didn't have enough evidence.

I was telling folks at work that his rates just went way up! The prosecution failed and I believe the police failed.

No, the police did their job correctly, the prosecution allowed the mob/media dictate how they were gonna charge her...had they not allowed the sensationalism surrounding the case warp their sense of selfworth and righteousness..they would have gone after a lesseer manslaughter charge...which would have been prosecuted.

That I agree with. When I say police, I should say more the folks doing the autopsy since the defense seemed to have done a good job attacking what should have been done with their experts. In all honesty, I think the media will be coming with all kinds of things now trying to explain what happened and at the same time making it look like they didn't cause this mess up. It seems like the mdeia does a horrible jo when it sensationalizes cases. I really haven't watched a media case since OJ and now I see why. Now it was hard not to watch some of the Anthony trial since it took over all my news shows. In the end, Caylee is the biggest loser since she just lost her justice.

I agree with this. The prosecution did not perform their job adequately. Their case was very shakey and based too much on circumsantial evidence. They clearly let the sensationalism get the best of them and this clouded their judgement.
This whack job, Casey Anthony, will never be able to have a normal life once she is out. She has put her family through hell with accusing pretty much everyone in her family of murdering the poor little girl. Where is she going to go? I don't care what happens to her. Karma will catch up to her. I think this will happen much sooner than later.

A real travesty. The jury may have begun to have doubts when G. Anthony lied on the stand about his affair. So, if he lied about that, he could lie about everything else. I don't think he had a thing to do with his granddaughter's demise, or her being dumped in the woods. Or perhaps, the jury was confused when C. Anthony lied about Internet searches.
This miserable woman, her mother, did it without any doubt. She will be getting book and TV deals, interview deals, etc. Home run for Casey Anthony. RIP Cayle.
Obviously, if you can generate a nationwide obsession with a murder case, then you can certainly get away with murder in the USA.
