Yep "Tony Stewart" is definitely a bad word in our house.
Who will win? Well whoever is in 3rd or 4th at the white flag has the best shot. I sure would have liked to see mark win it last year, who knows with the team he is with this year.... Now wouldn't that just get some people talking.
I will admit that I will be watching to see how that AJ guy is doing. Hey if Mikey can sit second and AJ was 16th near the end of qualifying, there is hope for him. When I saw Mike second I thought, wow he better pass inspection this year, and you know they were really going to look at that car.

Mark Martin is just one of those good guys, kinda of like Darrell Jarrett, that you just can't find a reason not to like him. Isn't Mark doing like a 1/2 year this season, or something (semi-retiring). I don't think anyone would be dissappointed to see him win the 500.

so what do ya all think about T Stews mullet and 30 additional lbs??? lol...
and yes Martin is racing just a half season in the #8...
i am beginning to think that bjoe is a front runner... first the Patriots and now Johnson...

well maybe bjoe can find better luck this time, but once again, I hope not. I'm not a Jimmy fan. He acts to much like his girlfriend, I mean teammate, Gordon.
But on a serious side, #48 deserves credit, he's good. I still don't like him, but he's good.

And Stewart (weight)....have you noticed that he goes up/down from one year to the next? He's either skinny or fat every single year
I know he does commercials for sub way, but is he trying to lure in Weight Watchers as well?

RU just wants to see Carl do a faceplant after 500 miles. He has no problem doing them after the Busch races, but after Cup races he barely makes them.

It will be interesting to watch the twin 125s this year. See if the Toyotas stay together, see if the new teammates stay together.
One thing that is sure is that Jr. will be getting a lot of TV time.

no way!!! he makes em look easy!!! i have been an Edwards fan for 5 years now!!! as long as he doesnt punch out M Kenseth this year i think he has a good shot!!!

Personally, I'd like to see anyone punch out...well, that's another story (don't won't to offend any fans).
On another note...I would not be displeased if the likes of K. Petty crash. It's almost expected. I am very tired of watching some old "money" names still in it just to keep the family tradition going. Either race like you got a pair, or get out and run your driving school.

Best pure driver my left foot. I've seen Kurt Bush and Carl Edwards do stuff in a car to avoid wrecks Stewart could only dream of. While he does get bit by being impatient at times Stewart is a smart driver.

Oh come on, you can tell us who you want to see punched out, we won't tell anybody.

I don't mind Kyle, he makes no bones about the fact that he is only racing for Adam. Plus he does a lot of good with his Victory Junction gang. As far as Andrettis go, what about John? He is a good guy and all, but who keeps hiring him?

Harvick...I just didn't want to offend AquaKnight. I like Childress, but Harvick just wines alot IMO.
Kyle Petty is a good guy, and does alot of good things off the track, especially with his motorcycle rides. But I don't get why he's still ON the track. He doesn't even try. He can usually be found about as far back as you can get.
I just heard something about Hendrick having to replace all of their motors and will be starting at the back of the field

yup something broke in Jr's motor so they are replacing all 4 engines... and now RCR/DEI is replacing 3 motors...

Also something wrong with the Toyota engines... again. Our team already changed an engine on Monday and will need to do another change possible today or early tomorrow morning. :eek:hwell

Yeah, I was just reading up on it some more. Doesn't sound positive, but they didn't seem to have any prob's with the engines at the Shootout.
I saw where Toyota is having to get some more too, from California or somewhere...hope your hubby doesn't have to drive to go get 'em....he might not make it back before race time.

Yeah, the engines are from California, that's where Toyota has their R&D department. My hubby will be hauling ass on Monday night for California already. Those engines will be overnighted from Ca to Fl. It's amazing what these teams are willing to do when something goes wrong. <faint> if you ask me :)
