I was about to leave my boyfriend, but then I saw what perfectdark said!

I want a ricordea/ zoa dominant tank, so I don't really care to have most of the corals that are already in the 14... he's also paying for my new tank.

When you had the 24w bulbs were you using 10,000k daylight bulbs or 50/50s? I'm just trying to make up my mind on which ones to use over my biocube14.

Martini, do your clowns ever pick on your royal gramma? I want to add a royal gramma to my biocube 14 with my two clowns.
How long were your clowns in the tank before you added your royal gramma?
P.S. cant wait to see your 18 gallon fill up.

Sometimes they would give each other dirty looks, but no real fighting. I had my clowns in the tank for about 7 months before I added my royal grama. If you are going to get one, look for a small one. Mine was very small when I first got him, now he's pretty big.

Thanks for the info, I will find a small royal gramma.
What do you feed your corals, and how do you keep your cleaner shrimp from taking the food from your corals? My cleaner shrimp takes all the food away from my ricordea.

I feed mysis and cyclopeeze. I have the same problem with some of my slower eating corals. I try to give my shrimp some food on the other side of the tank to keep him occupied while feed my other corals. I also use the pipette to keep him away while the corals eat.
