Nice, both of your brains look realy good. I also like that favia or howevr you spell it. Are thoose zoos really blue or do they just look that way in the Pic? I have never seen blue zoos for sale at the reef shoppe before, although I did see some at another LFS for like $80-$90. I have 4 kinds of zoos, brown with an orange dot, the green ones i posted before, eagle eyes, and some that are kinda gray with a white star and reddish skirts. Thoose last ones looked kinda blueish in the store.(that "blue tank'' can be missleading) I might be going to the reef shoppe on Fri. (they got in a huge shipment today) :joy:

At the store they had this awesome favia (that is how you spell it) called an X-mas favia. As u can imagine it was green and red but the cool thing was that it was huge! It was about the size of half a basketbal. But the price was huge too, $148!!!
He had a really nice modern coral too, (also over $130) He had a thing called a feather star that was really freaky, I almost bought one ($45) but he said that they're tuogh to keep in small tanks.(big tank=more LR=more food) Google "feather starfish" to see pics, the one he had was purple & red.

Believe me, if i had $148 I would've bought it in a second.(although I'd have to make room for it  ) I only had $22 and my dad will usually split the cost with me so my limit was like $50. The lil' blasto frag was $32 and the feather duster was $15.(not bad right?)

Cool, be sure to let me know how it goes. Is a porcylin crab the same as an anemone crab? I have a cool little crab that was labled "porcilin anemone crab" and he's awesome, he's always on the rim or under my flower anemone and he uses little "feather" things on his "arms" to catch food. Is your fungia still livin'? That thing is a fighter, I've had two corals die, (frogspawn and laether) and they both went from fine to gone in less than a week...

I just looked it up on this site and what I have is sold here under anemone crab-white. The porcilin crabs are pretty similar and I think maxillipeds are thoose "feather arm things" The blue spotted Kole pic looks aweome too. Since i had to get rid of my foxface got any ideas for a replacement? Iwas thinking som kinda goby 'cuz my anthias rules the open water. But since I have CC no sand sifters, I was thinking mabe a manderin if I can find one around here that will take frozen mysis.

im pretty sure porcylin and ameomne crabs are pretty similar
the fungia is still livin but half of it is covered in diatoms or cayno so i dont think its gonna make it
what size tank do you have?? mabey like a kole or yellow tang if you tank is big enough, to replace the foxface, or a firefish?

I have a 55, and i don't want the tang police on me. I had a firefish but my anthias tried to eat it so I ended up takeing it back. Thats why I need something that will stay on the bottom so it won;t get in the anthias' way...

thats a good idea, but I don't know if they'd do good with only an inch or two of CC. I fed my brain some mysis last night asnd this morning he looks great. Here's a pic.

I did some research and a jawfish won't work,
says they need a deep, fine, sand bed. I started a thread to try and get some ideas, (Ideas for fish in 55) You said before you wanted a swallowtail angel, would one work in a 55? Did you end up ordering that stuff?

no i havent orderd the stuff yet, and im not sure about the swallowtail, they are larger than a dwarf, but smaller than most large angels so idk if it'll work, i think they get about 6 or 7 inches
also, im gonna get to go to rochester again in a week or 2!! i really shouldnt be excited though because its for a bad reason, my mom had a siezure on saturday so were taking her up to the neurologist in rochester after she gets out of the hopsital hoping they can find out what happend since the hospital couldnt
