fixed the pump, it was jammed with a very tiny snail shell. I also just got done acclimateing my new corals from a local reefer! I got: 10" geen lobo, 5" green galexia, and a 4 inch frag of green slimer, all for $90! Will post pics as soon as they open up

lookin really good thus far! i have those same Moon lights. they are nice and bright.
also i noticed you were upset with your rock work / aquascaping. well you might find that instead of most pieces being about the same size, if you trade a bunch out for Larger pieces, it can really create a nice contrast, especially for bigger tanks.

im pretty happy with the rockwork, i REALLY like steve weast's (not sure if thats spelled right) rockwork, but it would be pretty hard in my tank since its now very wide.

Trachyphyllia is just the scientific name, The commonly called name is brain coral or open brain coral. Got any updates, or new pics?

Nope no updates yet, not sure if i have this in the thread already or not but i fixed the pump for my skimmer, it was a jammed sail shell.
We just put in a order for 4 different kinds of coral food, and a couple sailfert test kits.
if i start getting more SPS im gonna start looking into getting a calcium reactor or kalkswasser reactor. What the difference between the 2?

My new Fungia is starting to bleach around the outside, and in the center. The guy had said to have it pretty low in the tank, so i had it 6" from the bottom, but now ive moved it to the sand to try and save it. My dad also keeps messing around with the valves to try and get everything stable in the tank, but then the water in the return gets low, so the auto top off is constantly adding a gallon or 2 of RO so the salt is constantly changeing. Yesterday it was at 1.025, and today its at 1.021 (on a refractometer) Anyone think this might be why the Fungia is bleaching?
