Man I don't know what to do???? I don't have Flowers sump to work on and tweak......I guess I'll have to go watch the football game with the wife, since she's a Steelers fan!!!!!
Not a pro sports fan....love my college, but could do without the overpaid whiners IMO.......

Rare to fnd indeed these knights in shining armor, but they do exist, who could have guessed they hung out at SWF sites.

Flower did the box come in yesterday?

Yes I got it.
Did I not post it? My mind is in a fog, Dans funeral is today...I remember typing and raving, I must not of posted. Yes and its truely fantastic too, you even painted the block you attached to for it to sit higher. I even mentioned the clamps at the time I couldn't figure what to call them and laughed making fun of your choice of packing material saying that you even sent towels to clean up any water spills. but . I must not of hit the submit. I was so excited about that and then later Shawn sent the sump.
I have to head out...it's going to be a rough day...I will post later.

Thoughts are with you, Flower.
Yes, I sent some extra hose clamps...for some reason I can't remember if I clamped the two bottom hoses or not, but in case I didn't there are extras in the box. Also tossed in some heavy duty 16" zip ties. We have tons of em at work and I always have a bunch sitting in my tool box in my truck. Also threw in an extra piece of hose that was left over in case for some odd reason you ever need it for something.
Warmest regards to you and your children.

Hey everyone....well its over...He really is gone. I didn't wake up from a bad dream so I guess its for real. I'm really drained maybe I can sleep now, and thanks for the warm wishes. I can't find that post I wrote when Coreys box arrived. I don't know how I didn't post it, I thought maybe it was in Microsoft word as a draft but I can't find it. It really bothers me
I'll post something in the morning...love you all.

Get some rest, Flower! Tommorow is a new day...hopefully your beautiful new sump/fuge will arrive. Don't worry about the post, I know you typed it and meant to post it. I'm just happy to know that you recieved everything intact.
Rest well!

Good Morning Corey,
Now that I feel functional again (I actually slept) I realized I didn’t leave the post in draft…rather it was a work in progress that got shoved to the back of the to do list…It’s a tradition for friends and family to speak at the funeral, some old friends couldn’t be there, they have 12 children and now live in Florida. So they sent e-mails for me to read in their behalf. I was working on my post when they contacted me…everything went out the window from that point. I am so, so sorry to be posting this so late.
I had written it almost..and then saved it under sump poem, which is why I couldn’t find it at first. When you read the following you will see why it was saved and not finished. Although I am deeply ashamed I did not at least acknowledge the package right away. I love the Gizmo and the hoses are so much bigger than it looked in the picture…I’m just amazed at the craftsmanship, this is so well made and I see how much sweet effort you put into it…I felt you should get more than a mere thank you. So the following is what I intended to post and do so now….
It’s here! Corey’s Fantastic Gizmo has arrived! He even painted the block he attached to it so it would sit right on the tank, so it looks awesome. Man this thing is heavy duty and well made, and he even added some heavy duty zip ties. He thought of everything he could.
Okay I see the clamps and the piece of hose, what do I use it on? I don’t see what it attaches to..Please explain. (which you already did)
LOL…he thought of everything, he even put some towels in there, I guess for in the event there are any water leaks at install..But what’s the pillow case for? …LOL Just Joking, I know you used it all for packing,.
I’m so happy…I got inspired to write a poem.
My Good Cyber Friends
Nitrates were everywhere giving me fright, water changes each day and into the night. But when you have friends who love saltwater fish, the worries turned into a sump/refugium wish.
Shawn got together all the smart ones online and decided to make me something divine. While Meowzer hunted down the perfect skimmer for me, Al&Burke started measures as swift as can be making sure it can fit in the cabinet you see.
Then others jumped in with opinions and thoughts. Post counts kept rising as help just poured in. To thank them all proper, where could I begin? Monsinour, U Mike, Posiden, Spanko and Gemmy. Even Beaslebob showed up 13 pages later…with all of that help, oh what could be greater?
To my amazement Corey stepped in, He created a gizmo and blocked it all in…… to sit on the tank perfect …an award he should win. He did all the plumbing and put it together, he made it so well it will last forever.
Desertdawg and 1snapple had questions to ask, and they got their answers we raised to the task.
Shawn with your cold, skinned knuckles a plenty, made the sump/refugium with help from so many. My friend posted pictures so all could see…the beautiful sump/fuge he created for me.
These folks didn’t know me, it’s all cyber space…I wish they could see this big grin on my face. I wrote you this poem, I want you to know…I will always cherish your friendship, my hearts all aglow. What a shame it belongs in the cabinet below.
The end
Now be nice, it was written by a crazy lady who hadn't slept in three days.
