I agree...LOL...I just love that white one
I can deliver it to you if you'd like.
That one is available.
I'm just waiting to see what s e x the other two are to determine who's staying. I'm really contemplating on keeping the chinchilla baby regardless. It's really turning out to be a very nice looking bunny.

No I'm not keeping the white one. It's too long in the body and ear. It has a really great disposition for a pet though. It'll make someone a really good companion. Right now I'm worrying about the breeding and not so much the color requirements for show. The standard for this breed is to be a solid bunny with a nice roundness at the back, not too much space between the shoulders and the head and short ears. This bunny doesn't quite fit those requirements. But a person who's looking for a pet won't care about all that. They look for the cute factor and personality. And this bunny's got it! I'm keeping the chinchilla regardless of s e x and the broken will depend on whether it's male or female.
I wish I could keep them all but I'd be over run by bunnies if I did.

Ok....after two weeks I am back. The babies are getting bigger. They are almost weaned. They are all does!!!!! My husband took to the solid chinchilla baby and has affectionately named her Snack.
He insisted that we keep her so she is a permanent fixture to the family.
I have one of my LFS guys coming by to look at the other two soon. He's been wanting a rabbit for a while now but wanted something on the small side.
I will have updated pics on here later today.

These pics are from a few minutes ago! They have come a long way in such a short time. I'm so proud of my babies.

These girls are all over the place. They all go in different directions when out of the pen. It makes for a nice exercise chasing after them.

lol I'm sure your cat would love to eat....oh! I mean meet them!
These bunnies have been raised around kids, birds and dogs. They get handled every day. They're litterbox trained too.

So, if you train bunnies to use the litter box, do you have to cage them?

You don't have to but you would definitely have to bunny proof your home. Any cords could be fatal to your bunny. And you definitely wouldn't want them getting behind your tank for this reason. My bunnies have a 9 sq ft hutch in my kitchen with a litterbox in it. I take them out every day for play time in my livingroom and I never leave them unattended during this time. I sit the litterbox out in the livingroom and let them play. Keeping them away from the tanks.

Bunnies are 5 weeks old today!! The doe is now back in her own cage. They are fully on food and water now. Crazy how fast they grow!

5 weeks old? That is the perfect age to stuff your thanksgiving turkey with nice juice tender rabbit meat..........
Or stuff someone with something, that's for sure....
And they rag on the reptile people.

I think Beth has it right!
Why would I go through all the trouble and costs just to eat these precious babies! When we move out to the country my husband plans on doing that but he'll have a separate rabbit room and it's his responsibility to take care of them and butcher them. I'm not having anything to do with that. As long as I don't see them or have anything to do with them I have no problems eating them but once a bond is formed I can't do it. I love my rabbits and are proud to be breeding them. It's a complete joy. I'm hooked.
Can't wait to see what the next litter will be like. You never know how many, what colors or the s e x so it's always exciting.
