Okay only gonna repeat what others and I have said. Leave your tank alone and let it stabilize. Keep running the carbon and keep the filters clean. Only do water changes if you see the ammonia climbing. Your stirring of the sand has probably cause a bacteria bloom from the nutrient in the sand. You have to let the tank stabilize again. Please leave it alone for a few days and it will get better.

Yea previous photo was of this morning when my ammonia was showing slightly so I did the water change about 2 hours after that photo and this new photo is of it now.
It actually has a slight grennish tint to the water and I have NEVER had that problem and my lights are on timers.
Ammonia is still 0 by the way and everything else is good

A while back I had a green tint...I ran a hob filter with carbon for a few days and that worked...I also kept the lights on shorter during that time, and fed less..

I feed every 3 days so I figure it could be the lights. I am going to shorten them each by a couple of hours tomorrow to see what happens.

it can't hurt...green tint means algae (from what I have been told) so cutting out lights, using some carbon...etc should help...

Even though my lights have been on the same time for weeks now, could my sand hand sifting cause nutrients for the algae to grow?
BTW I love how you put "im a girl..LOL" on your avitar HA

LOL...Cause everyone kept referring to me as "hey man..or Dude"...so I fixed that
IDK about the lighting...I would do like everyone else said...let it settle, and keep doing your testing...I am the most IMPATIENT person, LOL...But In your case stirring the sand probably contributed...

Wow +1 LEAVE IT ALONE.
Only thing IMO is i would also try adding a hob filter if you have one lying around.Only temp. Just to help on you normal filters. GIve it time.

I also had started to notice if i leave my light on even for a few hours extra one day i see some green on the rocks. But as long as you keep on it it wont grow anymore. I only keep my lights on for 7 hours Anymore and i start to see green on the rocks like yours. Turn you light back.

I have 2 HOB filters. One with a polisher pad and filter pad in it and the other just has carbon in it
Trust me I have not done anything with it except test the water and change some of the water out.

I have one HOB filter and a skimmer that I run. I just set the other HOB filter for my extra carbon cartridge.
My tank has been crystal clear up until now so I know my filtration works.
I would like to do the whole sump thing and get the HOB stuff out of my tank and under it but I will have to wait for that
