I have about $400 worth of coral in there! HA
Its a toadstool on the left. In the first pic you can see him opened up but lately he has been hiding.
I dropped my lighting down about a total of 5 hours between the two
even with corals, 2 days without light will be fine.
(your water is cloudy, and I didn't look all that close)
It isn't a sand issue at this point.

This is a hug going out to you. I know you need one after all you have been through.
I have been watching your situation and crying with you. I'm glad to see things starting to clear up.
I was going to get on to sfoister for being mean, but thought better of it. You handled yourself pretty well. Good for you.

Looking much better. How long you gone for? You may just want to run your lights 5 hours per day until you get back depending on how long you will be gone.

Nope never have
I do heat the water up to the same temp as the tank though
you gotta let your salt mix actually mix for atleast 24 hrs. put a small powerhead and a heater in there. 48 hrs is even better.

Im baaaaaaaaaack and the tank is terrible

Turned the skimmer on, changed the filter and carbon, and I am keeping the lights off for two days straight!

Ohhhhh the weather was amazing! Destin Florida is where I went....
Well I have NO IDEA what happened! The water was not that bad when I left. Im guessing its because my skimmer was turned off and I had to take my carbon out.
So should I just do what I listed or should I also do a 40% water change?

Looks nice...Florida...not the tank..LOL
I think I would do a water change too...that's got a lot of algae floating in it
Fire your fish sitter..LOL

Is it just me or does it look like he did something with my sand? The sand bed has been lowered on the right side...maybe he did a water change for me and dumped the water in too fast or something.
