didn't you have a trio of those H. Butterflies?
Yeah but unfortunately one of them never ate and the other was doing great and just died without warning. I think they might have been cyanide caught.

Bio - just sweet man...unreal.
I love the pair of Indicus! I have always wanted a pair of them since they school in the wild.
Cant wait to see the tank once you have it fully stocked...awesome job!
Thanks CC, actually only one of the trigers is indicus. The other is a melichthys niger, I know it's hard to tell by the pics. They get along great and seem to enjoy each other's company. Very cool to see...

very nice Bio..when is the fowlers Tang going in the DT? I have one on order myself. yours looks awesome.
It's going in this weekend! I just wanted to make sure that it can hold it's own during feeding. I think it'll be fine though. Just be prepared, they are very shy fish and will probably not come out of hiding for a week or two. Good luck with your's!
Your fish seem to be attention needy. They seem to have forgot they have another 350 gallons on the right to swim in.
Man is that thing what dreams are made of!

That's just too funny
you're absolutely right, they just follow me everywhere I go.
So what is the biggest fish in there right now? Length or total mass? It looks like the X-hatch is the longest, but the Emp. is the 'heaviest?'
I guess the crosshatch would be the longest and the heaviest would probably be the black durgeon trigger. That thing is FAT! The emperor and french angel come in at a close second.
Yeah, but dont forget the largest thing that has been in the tank is BIONECK himself, lol. Wonderful fish man,, great variety,, good luck with the coral though (I hear it makes a pretty snack for the puffers)
LOL, that's true. I completely forgot about myself.
New arrivals on friday:
Maculiceps tang
yellow belly blue hippo
mappa puffer (just had to have one)
BIONECK, what do you do for a living that allows you to afford and maintain such a wonderful aquarium?
Also, do you have any other tanks or is this behemeth the one and only??
keep up the good work
it is actually my tank. he comes to NJ, cleans it, takes pics of it, pays for its inhabitants, etc. lol i wish. this tank has inspired me to build something this massive when i get a bit older.
hey bio sad to hear about your trio. jw, how do you clean this beast? mag float?

It's really not what you do for a living or how much money you make that matters, it's all about what the wife/significant other allows you to do with your money. Lucky for me I've got an understanding fiancee' that allows me to pour thousands of dollars into this crazy hobby of mine.
And yes I do have other tanks. A 250 hex that I'm using as a QT(golden puffer and bariene tang), 120gal qt(fowler's tang and purple tang), 90gal reef, 55 gal FOWLR and a 14 gal biocube. Yeah I know, I'm crazy

Somewhere between 13 and $15,000. Not too sure, but that's only because I had about 350lbs of live rock and lots of live sand from my previous tank. Plus countless hours of hard work, and no lie, there was plenty of times when I just wanted to quit this project altogether. If I had to do it all over, I probably wouldn't do it again.
