nice pics but i don't see ur clowns in them now im worried lmao=p
That pic was taken when they first got in the tank and liked staying over on the left side; before they found out about the brain.

No worries... they are still there.

I brought home my coco worm and my fountain feather duster from my 29.
The clowns are getting better with communicating and establishing their dominance issues. They actually ate a little bit of ORAGlo tonight. They seem to like the very small, crushed pieces that are floating on the surface and they go nuts for zooplex.
Pics from tonight. Nothing really special, just documenting each new change for my own diary.
The clown was not too happy about this

Coco worm (who hasn't come all the way out) and the fountain feather duster in their new home

Actual FTS from tonight (including the bare left side!) ** Note the clown in the top left front corner

That's it! Allergies are killing me, so I'm off to bed!~

wow u have alot of snails i think i need alot more also the algae in my tank isn't disapearing fast enough.
I just have 5 astrea, 7 nassarius and 1 conch. Think that's a lot?
They're doing a fanstastic job of keeping everything pretty clean so far. I had a very light dusting of diatoms and they took care of that right away. I was planning on getting more of a CUC this weekend. 2 scarlet reef hermits and maybe 2 small turbos.
Yeah, add more CUC for your tank. All of the awesome inverts in your tank, probably doesn't do as good of a job cleaning up as the "true" janitors, like the snails and non-ornamental crabs.

Stopped by my LFS today and picked up a gorgeous coco worm, frogspawn, clove polyps and a small mushroom rock.
Pics of the coco worm... pics of the rest will come later when they are opened up.

The pictures look great Kat

I really like your new coco worm, are they any different than say a "normal" feather duster?

Yeah, the brains always get really big in my tanks too, and I always end up having to trade them in for another one. They are one of my favorite corals!

Thanks, subielover!~

They are different from feather dusters because they have a hard, calcium tube, instead of the soft, "wet cigar" like feel of the regular feather dusters. Their crowns are also different.

Very nice tank! Its SO clean! lol If you don't mind telling everyone, how much did you get the coco worm for? I've seen them for $70-$80 at my LFS. There very very pretty, but just too pricey for me. Keep up the good work!!

My new clove polyps

My new purple/blue mushroom rock

New frogspawn trying to open

Does anyone know what this is? It's on the stalk of my frogspawn, looks and acts like some kind of feather duster?

And.... updated FTS

Thanks, Coral Keeper!~

The coco worm was $49.99, and with my Atlanta Reef Club discount (15%), I ended up paying $42.49 for it.

This coco worm is different from my red one. It has an extremely long tube and the crown comes waaay out of the tube, and it is truly beautiful. They have 2 more left just like it at my LFS.

WOW kat u just started ur tank and it looks so full already.
i went down stairs and looked at my tank and it looks like nun is in it yet all the frags are so small in my 28gallon

and all the inverts are hard to notice b/c they are so small compared to everything else(i get sad everytime one of my parents costumers looks at the tank for a while and asks why its empty.
i would buy more coral but im pushing my luck and my wallet.
(just have to wait for everything to grow in but it looks like its not growing at all
)
also thats just a common mini feather duster i started with nun and now i have a million all over the tank.
