Just think about it though... you get to watch your stuff grow and once it does, can you imagine what an awesome tank you're gonna have???

My tank looks so full because I keep "stealing" things from my 29 and putting them in this one. Plus, you have to remember that this tank is only a 14g one.

and tell your parents customers that your tank is full of little critters and coral; that they just need to relax and look at the whole picture...

But yeah... this is a very expensive, but addictive hobby.
No special care needed for coco worms. They are filter feeders. Just keep your calcium levels up and they'll be happy.

to busy with work and school so i havn't been taking care of my tank as much and no time to update but not much has changed.
i have to try to clean out the back b/c there are alot of invert shells from them molting
.
yea i need way more snails and hermits the ones i have now are a bit spoiled b/c they also get fed once in a while so they are lazy.

I absolutely LOVE brains and they seem to do well in my tanks. They get huge quick, so I'll have to be on the lookout for another one when this one gets too big!

Sorry to hear you've been very busy with work and school.
That's why I appreciate you even more for taking the time to stop by and check in!~

I know that since I've gotten this tank set up, I've been kind of neglecting the one at work. I still do my weekly maintenance on it and spoil my babies, but I've been taking things from it here and there, and just decided that once I get this tank done, which should be after this weekend, I'm going to focus on restructuring the other one.
My conch died today, not sure why.
Well, I probably DO know why, he probably didn't have enough to eat and starved. Caught my cleaner shrimp trying to pick him out of the shell.

Well, my clowns are either confused, or they just both wanna submit to each other and be the "male".
Thought they had it figured out the last 2 days because the younger of the two would do the submissive shake thing at the other, but then tonight, they are taking turns doing it to each other.
At least they're getting along, right?

can i pay u to make me a 14g nano in my room like urs b/c aparently im rich i even bought a iphone, i guess im loosing my marbles i just hope i don't do something stupider then wasting 500 dollars and to think i was complaining about how expensive my tank was

i should just buy another nano lmao=(

Thanks, Halo! And you MUST be rich.... bought an iphone, bunch of inverts, bunch of frags....

Sure, I'll set up a 14g nano for you, but I can't promise you that I'll do a good job on it!
You do just fine on your own! Your tank is going to be awesome when all those frags grow out and it will look full!
And I support you if you wanna get another nano!

Went to the Vet this morning to take my little furbaby for his routine check-up and yearly vaccinations. Left there with devastating news. My sweet, precious baby has cancer.
He has a mast cell tumor on his bottom and he is scheduled for surgery (dental) on Tuesday and when they put him under anesthesia, they are going to surgically remove the tumor and send it off to the University of Georgia for biopsy and staging. Those results will not be back for 7-10 days. 7-10 of the longest days of my life. 7-10 days to wait and see what stage it's in and what his prognosis and treatment plan is. I am heartbroken. This dog is my baby. He's 9 years old. He is a pekipom (pomeranian/pekinese mix) He was adopted from the Humane Society when he was 8 weeks old. Absolutely the sweetest, most affectionate little dog in the world.
I know that this doesn't belong on a message board about saltwater fish and that it doesn't belong in my "diary", but if you pray and believe in the power of prayer, I ask that you please remember my sweet little baby in your thoughts and prayers. Please pray for the best possible outcome and pray that he will be strong and healthy.

Kat I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I have 4 & love them all. I had to put one of my danes to sleep in Oct 07 & it was heartbraking. I hope Kobe will be OK.
I've been very busy with work lately & haven't checked in for a while. I just wanted to tell you the new cube looks great!
I love the clowns & the brain.
My lfs has a coco worm I've been drooling over for a couple of weeks. They want $59 for it. I'll probably get it this weekend. I might offer them $45. I always haggle on price. I run a new car dealership so I get it everday, and I take it out on them. Either way I'm getting it. I've added some new stuff to my cube & I'll update some pics this weekend. Check it out!
I'll keep Kobe in my prayers.

awww what a sweet looking little dog!!!!! I lost my boxer to cancer 1 year ago, but she had ALLOT of tumors when they found it, so it sounds like they found little kobe's early. That is very good! of course he will be in my prayers as well. And don't you ever worry about what "belongs" or don't "belong" here, if it's important to you then it's important to all of us!!!! especially you'r hubby
