Some updates: First, I am still deeply saddened about what we're going through with my sweet little dog, and I ask that you please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Pray that they caught the cancer early enough and that the outcome will be favorable.
Second, I had to remove my cleaner shrimp from the tank and move him to my 29 in my office. This was the cleaner shrimp from hell. I don't know when or if cleaner shrimp sleep, but this one never did. When the lights go out, he moves down to the bottom of the tank and harrasses the clowns continuously. He would get in the brain and scare them out of it by trying to "clean" on them or "catch" them. When they got out of the brain, he would chase them around and they could never get any rest. I woke up several times during the night to check on them and he was doing the same thing every time. Poor clowns were exhausted and would try to sleep, but he kept chasing them around. They were extremely stressed and breathing heavily. He also tried to pry snails out of their shells. I don't know what was wrong with this shrimp. He was a psycho serial clown harrasser/snail killer and I don't understand it because he ate ALL the time!~ Hopefully, he'll be better in the 29. The clowns acted happier today and even my little watchman stayed out in the open since the shrimp left. Maybe the clowns can get some quality rest tonight.
Today was the day for me to pick up my Aussie elegance that my LFS had been holding for me for over a month now, so I went to pick that up, along with 3 Aussie duncan heads, Phyto Feast, Roti Feast and Arcti Pods. The elegance was the reason why I didn't put anything on the left side of my tank yet. I wanted to wait until I got it in and then see how much more room I had to add something else.
