Soooo it's just something to keep me busy,lord knows it's not to make money!! Do you have any suggestion's?? I was thinking just a little 20 gal long,hob filter about 20-30lbs of LR and a Viper clip on 70w light. I just want to break even and keep busy,what do ya think?
Wow. Another 6-8 months off from work? awww... poor baby! I know you hate that!

I don't know what to suggest besides the "all-in-one" tanks because I know nothing about the hob filters or the clip on lights. I'm clueless when it comes to those kinds of systems.

HaloStalker: Just for you.... pics of the 225 gallon FOWLR (and some fake plants LOL) tank in our lobby.
I don't take care of this tank. It is maintained by a company that comes out on Friday's. My staff feeds the fish three days a week. Livestock are:
1 Ocellaris clown
1 Tomato Clown
2 blue damsels
2 yellow tail damsels
1 Foxface
1 Blonde Naso Tang
1 Purple Tang
1 Sailfin Tang
1 Parrotfish
1 Green Bird Wrasse
1 Marine Betta
1 Regal/Hippo Tang
1 Zebra Eel (my FAVORITE! Absolutely adorable and puppy-like)

Well, not much to really "update".... I traded my HUGE green open brain for a reddish/greenish one and it never swelled. I think it's dead.
My LFS is going to get me a replacement one.

I also traded in the zoa rock for some store credit. (I know, I know... would have been better off to sell/trade it myself, but.... )
anyway... my "blue" mushrooms, when they open up, turn purple...

I picked up this single purple mushroom that I love!

My torch is growing and is loving its new place!

Peef would be proud of me seeing that I also have xenia that has decided to grow on the back wall.

and finally... updated FTS

Next plans....
When my tax refund comes in, I am going to get a 14 gallon Biocube for my house and will put my n-a-k-e-d clowns in it and will give Picasso's another try. I'm going to order them through here, so we'll see! They will go into this tank.

wow, wow=P thats a nice lobby tank way better then reading a magazine=P. Glad ur back and well

i love the new mushrooms=P especially the purple one never seen one like it except it looks like some kind of lavender shroom but idk

and gratz on the xenia =P, yea i know that gets peef all excited
but for me is ur koralia coverted by coralline algae im jealous=P

By the way you NEED to COVER that front big rock in some zoos......seriously it SCREAMS...................HEY KAT COVER ME IN FREAKEN ZOOS ALREADY!

lmao peef is 120% right about that, maybe he should send u some zoo's already lmao=P, give her some time to artistically set her tank up thats most of the fun anyway=P
And if she had the tank finished she wouldn't bother coming back to talk with us
but hey she's planning a new nano, So we have her for a long time

That tank is what got me into the hobby. I cared absolutely nothing about fish. When it became our "responsibility" to feed the fish that were in this tank, I began to see that fish have personalities are can be a lot of entertainment. I went to the LFS and inquired about getting a small tank "just for a little clownfish" and got a 5 gallon Hex with just the clown and 3 pieces of rock. That lasted all of a week before I moved up to a 6 gallon Eclipse and then a month later decided I wanted corals and went to the 14 gallon Biocube and you know where I am now....

I don't know what kind of mushroom that is either, but I love it. It's got a lavender base with deep purple "stuff" on it.
Interesting for sure. Hope it spreads.
The coralline algae grows nicely in my tank. I already scratched a lot of it off the Koralia's once before and it comes right back. Not going to complain about that!

I knew you'd be proud of me for that xenia!

and I know... I know... that rock covered in zoas would look pretty darn awesome! I've got to find some LFS's around here that sells some nice frags. I ordered some from an online retailer and all of their plugs grew red bubble algae and it freaked me out and I immediately tossed the whole frag. I know that I SHOULD have just removed the zoas, but I don't have those kinds of means to do that here at work. (remove and reglue to something) I lost a lot of nice zoas because of that. I had an outbreak of red bubble algae in my 14 gallon Biocube and it was an eye sore; almost made me break down the entire tank. So, when I saw them all over the plug, I freaked and tossed them before they caused a big mess.
Now.... if you wanna donate some of your sweet zoas....

I hinted to peef that he could donate some zoas if he wanted to....

We all know that our tanks are never finished.... they are constantly a work in progress.... thus, I will be here for a looooong time to come!

Thanks!~ I like mine better too! I like all the movement.... the one out there, it's nothing but rocks and fake plants.
