Katsafado's first ever 10g SW tank(nano)

Not very pretty compared to Tridacnids but very good filter feeders.

YEAHH THATS IT! but white in colour matches the rock. and it does have teeth lol they look scary. I found a cluster of 3 1 big 1 medium 1 small

pH - 8.0
Nitrite - 0.2
Nitrate - 10
Everything seems to be dropping. Shouldnt only 2 of them drop and one spike?

WHo knows...LOL....My ammonia went up..now it is 0..trites and trates have never gone up (at least not yet)
How did you get the p.h. up? Or did it rise on its own?

Youd going to scream at me but i put 2 drops of that buffer in the water and i guess thats what made ir rise. but it didnt rise that much.

Why would I scream...It's your tank, not mine...Like I said I personally don't like adding stuff (now that I know better) BUT sometimes you have to also..
Just be careful what you add and how much...

yeah i added like 2 drops it said to add more but i wanted to see what would happen and it just rose the pH so its all good.
Do I need to change the water at all? No right?

I don't see a need for another w/c right now....Just keep up your monitoring....seems like everything is going as it should be

Yeah ph is ok....I wouldn't do anything else with it until your other water parameters are 0...

Well...I would start gathering the test kits...but you have a ways to go before you are ready to add anything...especially corals....some fish are more forgiving of water parameters than some corals

yeah I was going to wait for the tank to cycle then add my inverts, then wait a while to make sure they can survive, then add my 2 nemos, wait a month or two then add my corals

Sounds like a great plan...but honestly..isn't this waiting boring..

Yeah..I know about being broke...I'm trying to fill up a 225g with corals

by buying frags mostly, and every once in a while a reall size one..LOL
And for some reason I am converting my 29g from fw to sw...
