Who put up the spanko call? haha
Henry what do you think about the ciral possitioning I want to do and the choice of corals.
Read the above posts on it and let me know what you think.

Placement looks fine to me. Your tank is really wide open right now and the coral you are talking about should be fine placed anywhere in the tank. Plates live in the sand in the ocean. Xenia are gonna grow and if conditions are right for them probably be a PITA after a while. The torch and frog are going to be fine even right next to each other if you wanted it.

My guess would be copepods on your glass, mel.

Then probably copepods. Good stuff, free fish food.

Yeah this guy has hammers and frogspawn glued to the back wall of his BC29 gallon.Any Euphyllia sp. will be fine together.

WOWWWW..maybe I need to start gluing stuff to the glass too. lol

My thread is alive haha
Sorry wasnt here had to take my dog to get its stiches out.
good to know all the corals will work =) gluing them on the back of the tank is an interesting idea that I might have to do later on

and with xenia growing like weeds kind iof makes me not want to get one. I'm sure its a pain in the --- once they start growing like that. Every thread I read about them is that there taking over someones tank.
and yeah there copepods! I have seen some today on my glass also they look like tiny little white specs that almost look like there gliding around on the glass. Do they live in the rocks or just strickly on the glass?

Rocks, substrate, algae. They are detrivores and eat the uneaten stuff that falls in the tank. Most see them at night on the glass.

Yeah I saw some amphipods crawling around on one of my larger snails the other night. There fast little guys!
Do torch corals need high lighting? I know I have to put the FS higher in the tank, but what about the torch?
I have 2x40watt pc lighting.
Also if I buy a deep water zoo does that mean I have to keep it out of the light(put it in a cave or shadow)? Or will the lowest point in the tank be alright?

Euphyllia sp. torch, frogspawn, hammer coral would do well anywhere from mid tank up in your tank with that lighting I would think.
I would not purchase deep water zoanthids. (it is zoa by the way, zoo is where you go to look at wild animals). I have heard they are harder to keep than the other types that are available in the hobby. Only anecdotal on my part as I have only read it from other reefers though. Just buy the more common ones for you tank, they will be fine.
