maybe that's how it propogates? I've heard of corals "casting off" pieces of tentacles that float around and attach themselves elsewhere then start to grow there too! i dont know if the FS does that but it's a thought.

Is it bad that my plate coral is not circular and a little deformed?? haha
BTW I see cyano growing in the sand bed. Not at the top though under the sand.

yeah. what is it?
Some parts acctually look purple like its coraline, but others look rust colour like cyano. Either way nothing I can do about it if its under the sand. As long as it doesnt surface I should be good, right? Also I'm starting to get algae growing on the sand bed again(patches), and coraline is growing on my glass because when I tried to scrubb the algae off the glass it wouldnt come off so I'm guessing its coraline seed's. I'm going to have to go at it with a razor when I get a change to make soemthing.
As for the candy cane it looks like theres spots of tan colour on them. They also look smaller then when I first bought them. What do you think I should do? I think they might be stressed since theyve gotten knocked off the rock work acouple times and layed in the sand for acouple hours untill I saw them.
