As far as the stuff under the sand...don't worry about it...(I don't anyway)...as long as you have your sand cleaners/stirrers/sifters...you should be okay
You need to glue the candy cane down if it is getting knocked over so much

I have red stuff just like that around the sand edges of my 54g....sometimes the snails get it...sometimes they don't. You can scrape it if you want...from what I am seeing it is around the edges...right?

Yep yep as far as I know its around the edges.
Yeah I know I have to glue it down but I have no money to buy epoxy =( My work hasnt been schedualing me so there making me broke!

those were all on sale! lol I havent bought anything for like 3 weeks now!
I feel like I dont pay attention to the tank as much anymore since I'm not constantly opening the wallet to get soemthing haha! I didnt even test the water lastweek! But I'm sure nothing would spike since nothing has been added and everything is still accounted for.

I just finished tucking all my corals for the night haha. Everyone is good, and sleeping. The clowns are snuggling against the corner of the glass, jaqcues is searching the rocks for food along with vthe snails and hermits.
I havent seen my scarlet around lately

I guess itll pop up sometime if its still alive.
Finally got a shift 2morro for work! Going to bed!

I spot fed the corals lastnight and the candy canes grabbed onto a huge piece of my home made food. I never knew they close! haha ever since I got them they have always been open untill they got a nice chunk of food lastnight. So I guess they arent dying or doing bad!

I happen to have one. But its the cell phone and the coral is to bright to catch andy detail. Its just round and you see pieces of food hanging off it. I'll post it anyways.

If you look at the candy cane closely you can kid of see how its more of a ball instead of its normal shape. It went into a ball around the food.
