I will get them in a minute lol. No, my husband wants to drill it and he is at work. If he gets home early enough, we will drill it tonight. Drill is on charge and ready LOL.

Lol. It takes less than 5 minutes per hole. But make absolutly sure that you have some cardboard or bubble wrap on the opposite side to keep that piece of glass from breaking the front panel when it falls.

Yep, plenty of bubble wrap available... Just hope we don't crack it. Here is the pics of the stand. A 15g. might fit in it...would have to measure.

Ok, hubby is home and we are setting up to drill. How far down do I put the hole, or should I say where exactly should the top of the box be? Right against the bottom of the rim???

Does the box have a hole on the back to pass the bulkhead through? When I built mine I butted the top of the box right up to the bottom of the plastic trim, yes. And then I traced the outline of the hole in the box and that's where I drilled the tank.

Yes. Ok, we will place it up against the trim. I have the template they sent to use. I just didn't know for sure where to place it. Thanks alot. Now, where exactly to place the return hole? Up close to the trim too, or about an inch or so lower?

Not to close to the trim you have to make sure that the bulkhead makes full contact with glass only - it won't work if it is over the trim.

Ok, so place it right below the trim so that the bulkhead will only touch glass....I want it this high....yes?

Yes, you can always turn the loc line up so that when the pump shuts off you won't drain a hwhole bunch of water. I never used loc line - I think there is a small hole but you can always drill one, see what the other guys say about that. THat was loc line I saw in your package for the overflow. Hey can I ask how much that was?

Well, forget drilling tonight. I wasn't prepared, we argued. Forget it!! The return kit did not come with a template. Nor did my kit have a bulkhead nut?? Shouldn't it have one? I am gonna email them tonight...:(

Bulkhead needs a bulkhead nut, yes. And I thought those kits also came with 2 gaskets for the bulkheads.

I know. I just emailed them to find out why I didn't get two gaskets, bulkhead nut, or a template for the return hole. Geesh, can't believe I didn't notice it before that these things were missing..

I just searched the box really good, the extra gasket and nut were under the styrofoam!!! Yeah, I found it....But still no template for the return kit, and no instructions concerning it....

They say to double check themselves to make sure they get everything in the kit, but I guess we count on their professionalism too much to do that. lol. I'm sure they will get it resolved soon.
Decided if you are going barebottom yet or not?

Sorry Al, just caught this. Yes, it has the line in it for the overflow. Not the return. That is why I was asking how high to put the return. It was the super nano kit from glass holes, 65.00.

Have not decided, but it is on my mind. Instead of painting the bottom white, what about an off white or antique white? Wouldn't that look more like sand? Just an idea I was throwing around..

There is no template for the return kit. lol Never was...
Instructions for drilling glass are on the website. Just gotta find it. Drill the return hole as high as you can without making the gasket / bulkhead touch the trim. Very simple. :D Should take around 15 minutes to drill the glass (both holes) and install them.
You can tell I'm getting anxious! lol
