I've posted, but haven't stated any opinion regarding pot (I did post an opinion on the justifications posted here).
I also was in no way critical of Krista. I was seriously asking her if she had considered how using pot could affect her in pursuing a career.

both hold jobs, my mom at lifetime assistance. she also cleans an office a couple nights a week. my step dad worked his whole life installing carpet and now has been promoted to supervising. my house is moderatly nice. stays very clean. mom keeps up on the laundry and cooking. neither are lazy or dumb.
and i find that when i smoke pot i can concentrate harder on my art work and i can sit there longer and work it out and i usually am happier with the results.
is that a tangible positive??
i was not insulting anyone. i am a manic depressive and occasionally partake myself and am pro legalization. i just found it suprising because it sounded like you ( a minor)were bragging about your use.

I didn't take her comments as bragging. Her statements have pretty much described her experiences with marijuana. Personally, I'd rather have her light up a couple of joints, instead of getting wasted on beer or whiskey with her buddies, then jumping into a car and driving. And if you don't think a majority of 17 yesr olds don't partake in one or the other these days, I have some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you. Saaaay. There's another poll for you...

don't get smart with me i was making a comment and your attitude is more than likely going to get this thread closed , i am not naive i realize that kids do it i was one myself not too long ago and now i have a 14 year old i just hope that she doesnt get on the internet and tell a bunch of strangers that she does drugs and its no better to jump into a car stoned than drunk

As far as what jenny said about tobin..not to beat a dead horse,but what she says is the absolute truth.. My father has stage 4 liver cancer and is expected to parish at any moment..I'm am a big guy 6'2 at 240lbs so was my dad(not as big as me though) through the trial of cheamo that didn't work he got down to about 110 lbs..the dr prescribed Maradol(sp) to help with weight stablization....pot in a pill..he started smoking again and put some of his weight back on..
Think of it this way
Man created beer and god created pot...who do you trust more?

God "created" cocaine too, but does that make that right also? Should we next legalize cocaine because God made it and we trust him over man?
See, I don't have a problem with the cancer patients using medicinal marijuana to help them. However, we already discussed how over-abused medicinal marijuana is and how much of a problem it can become. It was being prescribed to treat foot pains, minor back aches and headaches.
And please - this thread has to stay civil or it is going to be closed. We do not like to close threads, but the name-calling will not be tolerated. If it continues, that is the direction this thread will go.

Lion Crazz. Again, I can not agree with you. God did not create cocaine. Man did. God did create the plant from which man manufactures cocaine. Get your facts straight.

I'm not saying go out and get ripped. But how insane is it that we let child molesters out of prison, but get caught with even a seed in GA and get crucified for it,
I don't smoke anymore, but I used to, and I would never say I am ashamed for doing it..

I agree with you that the legal system is flawed in their punishment system, but that is not what is at hand. I don't think you will find anyone who disagrees with you that child molesters should be let back on the streets how they are (usually with just a slap on the hand). I also do not think you will find anyone disagrees with you about the severity of the punishments for being caught with mairjuana. But that is just not a logical argument for the legalization of the drug.

i agree that is messed up my brother in law got more time for growing 4 plants here in texas than my ex husband did for molesting my daughters

I myself couldn't care less one way or the other..
If you want to do it, go for it...within reason, neglect your family, start missing bills, you need to step back and re-evalute your situation..

While I am a fan of mushrooms and though I havent tried "toad" I bet it is fun, but what is your point? I am not talking of legalization of any of those or cocaine for that matter. Oh, and dont forget peyote.I dont think I need to address arsenic, blowfish, hemlock, wormwood, etc.

yeaaaa well its not something to really brag about since like.... everyone i know smokes pot... its hardly an exageration too...
its not like i think its cool or hip...

. put people in a better mood if not anything else. the only down fall would be i would have to wait in line longer at McD or Burger King to get a burger. oh and people would look more like this
