Michele Bachmann: Our First Female President?

Not really sure there is much the government can do to stop outsourcing. At least not without tearing up the constitution. Anyone remember what crazy Ross Perot was saying about that giant sucking sound back in 92?

They took a chance on a 1st term senator. He was less than 200 days into his term.
Who voted "present" unless
the vote in question dealt with abortion, increasing union powers, growing government, or removing more citizens rights. Then little barry was right there to case a yes. O - and I'd bet Bachman knows there are only 50 sates, not 57 like little barry.
Bachman/Cain for 2012, 2016

Seems she got a little upset with the Fox News commentator when he asked what she thought of people calling her a "flake". She tends to have several Sarah Palin moments when she speaks.

Free trade by definition needs to go both directions. If we are outsourcing highly paid IT jobs to a country that refuses to outsource any jobs to us then that's not a two way free trade agreement and we need to terminate the relationship based on breech of contract.

If Rick Perry jumps in all bets are off.
If Rick Perry gets nominated, you'll see the "good ole boy" system in full effect. He a "what's in for me" kind of political leader. Even hinted of "secession talk" with Texas becuase of what he called "forced federal assistance". Take him please. Maybe then Texas politics won't be so corrupt.

I don't know what the deal is, the woman has served as a state and national senator. Has owned businesses, was a tax lawyer, ran a foster home, raised kids? What makes her unqualified? She didn't go to harvard? She doesn't stutter enough off the teleprompter? Doesn't mix up Medal of Honor recipients? Didn't go to a church that said, God Damn america! That is the one...

I'd say Obama moments. Seeing all the fallen heroes in the audience memorial day, 57 states, asking the guy in a wheelchair to stand up.

LOL! Yeah here's his hint "There's a lot of different scenarios," Perry said. "We've got a great union. There's absolutely no reason to dissolve it. But if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, you know, who knows what might come out of that. But Texas is a very unique place, and we're a pretty independent lot to boot."
Seems like a reasonable statement to me but to hear the lame stream media tell it he was calling for Texas to secede.

Do we want to start posting Palinisms and Bushisms again? I can probably give you at least 2 of those for every Obama faux pas.

Let's read the entire statement made from that event:
Perry called his supporters patriots. Later, answering news reporters' questions, Perry suggested Texans might at some point get so fed up they would want to secede from the union, though he said he sees no reason why Texas should do that.

He said when Texas entered the union in 1845 it was with the understanding it could pull out. However, according to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, Texas negotiated the power to divide into four additional states at some point if it wanted to but not the right to secede.

Obama and Bush, as I mentioned in the opening post, have pretty much identical administrations. Very little difference, if any. Even if Obama had fewer blunders, I wouldn't be very proud of him. He had a wonderful opportunity and blew it. And, as a result, the Republicans will retake the office. All they have to do is pick the man or woman they want to sit in the chair.

So the only thing he said that wasn't 100% reasonable and accurate was Texas had the right to pull out if they wanted to. There are those with the opinion Texas can pull out but that is only that and would have to be tested in court. Seems like a lot less off the wall statement than having visited 57 states or seeing fallen heros. "I see dead people" LOL!!!

Chris Matthews went off the rails in 04 and officially lost his mind in 07.
Once upon a time my TV schedule was Chris Matthews show, Then O'reilly then Hannity and Colmes. Colmes left Hannity and Matthews went insane about the same time :)
I don;t watch him at all....I heard it on the radio at lunch time and after seeing this thought it was funny
I can and will honestly say I know nothing about the woman

Nice try. "Perry suggested Texans might at some point get so fed up they would want to secede from the union ...." So what else would Perry "back out of" when he didn't get his way? The ONLY reason Perry has been successful in Texas was because he's always been backed by a majority in the State Legislature. All he has to do is sneeze, and they'll pass any resolution he puts on the table. That won't happen in Washington. Once he gets refused on his first initiative, he'll cry and want to come home to his mommy and get his old Governor's job where he rules the roost.
Obama said "57 states" after being on the road for several weeks on the political trail. I would have to guess that he intended on saying 47 states, but of course The Right would disagree.

I like how Bachmann stated that she was proud to start her campaign in the home of the famous icon John Wayne. Unfortunately, the famous "John Wayne" that was born in Waterloo, Iowa was the mass murderer John Wayne Gacy. Oops.

Her statement isn't incorrect. She started her campaign in the home state of John Wayne. He was born in Winterset, Iowa. I love how people, especially liberals, try to discredit politicians for no reason at all other than the fact they are on the other side of the aisle. John Wayne Gacy was actually born in Illinois and moved to Iowa.
Looks like you need a fact checker yourself.

Newsflash for liberals -
Michelle Bachmann mispronounces "corpsman" on Fox's' Hannity this evening - she actually pronounced it properly, without saying "corpse men" like the anointed messiah, little barry husein, who repeatedly says the word wrong. Of course Bachmann failed to go to Haaaaavard, so she's just as dumb as the MAJORITY of the USA.
