Of course Bachmann's evil in laws have received almost as much money over several years of subsidies as the taxpayers shelled out for Michelle 0bama's Spain trip last year LOL!

On the contrary - obama has devised - thru EPA, FTC, Dept of energy, Dept of commerce, et al - imposible regs & red tape on future drilling - so little barry huseins' chevy Volt could one day be worth the $40,000 it actually costs (without barry husein tax kickbacks) to drive one, when gas is $6 per gal. Fail again
Little barry is very anti gun, please review his voting record as Illinois State senator, and even the blind can see he'd never pick up an AR himself or know what to do with it. . . . besides, for a coward with no balls, it's easier to send in seal team 6.
I criticize him because he's an anit-constitution, pro BIG government, communist, cowardly fool - who will not be re-elected, no matter how much $$ he raises.
Your antithesis "republican" that is capable of performing "these" feats, and many others is a Bachmann/Cain type ticket on the right that'll eliminate 30% of the federal govt to start, and trim the remaining ammount by another 30%. So many departments can and should be just -0- bugeted, like the NEA(education), NEA (arts), EPA, NRLB, FTC, FCC, and about 20 more.......Let the govt teat suckers find a new career, we cannot afford them.
The 2012 pres winner will not be Jesus OR obama......it'll be the team that can cut this government down beyond the liberals worst nightmare, and put the private sector ahead of big govt.

Are the partisan crap aside what 0bama has tried isn't helping. It's time to try something different. We have never tried reducing the size of the federal government and I am voting for people top to bottom who make the best case that they will do it.

Unfortunately the people too often equate GW with conservative policies. So it's easy for liberals to say "we tried cutting taxes and that's how we got into this mess". Bush was cut and spend liberal. Yes he cut taxes, but he spent like a typical democratic :) . We need to cut spending. In 2008 the democratics :) were crying about Bushes 1.5 trillion $ debt. So how did more than tripling the debt help?

You know Darth, it's pretty sad when you try to justify the back-door politics this woman has done regarding these subsidies. You blow it off as it's no big deal. How about we multiply those subsidies by the number of every Senator and House rep? It's called Government Waste.
I think I'll start a drinking game, and take a shot of tequila everytime someone here uses the word "liberal" in a statement. You may not hear from me in the next couple of days, because I'll be dead due to alcohol poisoning.

What back door politics has Bachmann been accused of doing? Her inlaws were getting subsidies before she was ever a member of Congress. It sounds like you are the one swelling the Kool aide
As far as the real unemployment rate the 12 to 15 percent range sounds about right from what I've heard from numerous economic experts, liberal and conservative alike.
A year ago it was 16.6% According to this article

When growing up on the farm in Idaho, my Dad used to proudly tell us that he never accepted a penny of subsidies from the feds or state. He started a trucking company to subsidize the farm and eventually sold the farm to focus on the trucking. I like his grit, but it was also stupid. He grew up in the depression/WWII era and was fiercely independent. While that's noble, all the other farmers were making money hand-over-fist in the PIC program and other subsidies. Does it really matter that he didn't accept the government hand out? Only to him. It just meant more money in the pocket of corporate farms and made me have to get a second job working for other farmers to be able to buy school clothes. I wish he would've taken the government hand out. It would have made my teenage years a lot easier. So I won't begrudge anyone taking the subsidies. I wish they were eliminated, but since they aren't going away anytime soon, I'd rather see family farmers get it than subsidiaries of companies like Coke and Ford.

We're staying at the Barcelo properties that are between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum. Been there twice. Never had any issues with the drug cartels. We were down there last year during that H1N1 scare. Made it even cheaper to go.
