if you move stuff around and scrape or break something... or it could be detritus, sand, etc.

i see. thanks rotary. so lets get some livestock suggestions. further more up in my thread i stated i bought a pair of grade b picassos. for those who do not want to scroll up, heres a pic

i do not plan on keeping more than 4 fish MAX. i am prob going to do this pair and a goby of some sort, and maybe some type of shrimp? what do you think? or should i just get the pair only and try to breed em? (prob will not succeed, but i can always try..)

If they're b grades, there's no points... typically if you're breeding you want to buy the best looking animals period because people don't want to pay the same money for a b grade that they can get a show animal at.
Not trying to be a jerk, but I've bred frogs and such before. It's hard enough finding enough buyers and even then they're REALLY picky.

no matter how bad the LFS is, people will still prefer to buy there over an individual since they're the "professionals."
It's sad... picassos are a dime a dozen where I'm at. same with b&w's and nak*eds.

right... wholesaling stuff is alot easier by selling bulk, but you don't make as much per item as a LFS could with their markup.
people like to see the look of "professionalism" over someone selling stuff out of their house.

honestly i thought abotut breeding just for the heck of it. why do u gota make it so difficult
I'm not trying to make it difficult, I'm just making you aware that it not a "get rich quick" venture. BTW theres ALOT of work involved in rearing the fry.
You can definitely do it for the heck of it but once the pair start spawning, they do so quite a bit.
Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

if you end up doing it, post it up.. it'd be cool to see another thread of successfully breeding clowns especially picassos.

got any sponges or filter floss in there? both trap stuff and can become nitrate factories. also if detritus is just accumulating, that'll do it too..
