Didn't your rock slide hit him? If your looking for him at night with a flashlight and aint found him then you probably need to get another one. Its not going to hurt anything having 2 of them any way. I guess I need a warm fuzzy and try to believe

Get a tube anemone, I hear everyone is getting them these days

Ok so whats NEXT? I got 20 astrea snails, a bag of cheato and the copy cat anemone. What you got? GO FISH!
Can I grow chaeto in my DT? I would love to be able to have some, but alas, no refugium. Any thoughts?

Oh yeah, I want to get a sandsifting fish. I think I may go with a diamond goby. But, I don't think I am going to add too much more until I get my problems under control.

It is hard to grow it where there is any current because it just gets blown around under rocks where it decays. But you could try and find a place for a little. There are better macros suited to the display tank, if you look around a little you might find one you like better.

I have seen people grow cheato in a container in a DT. Like a acrylic box that holds it. Otherwise like stated it may get sent under the rocks.
As far as waiting for you to fix your problem is that going to take as long as you did to cycle your tank?
Jking
Have you considered a HOB refuge? That would be ok.
Really like the diamond goby

This thread is going to split before long and you only have 2 fish and a nice farm of cayno!

Glad to hear on the cayno. I am growing some back just so I can have something to do.

Wow Gill if your that desperate for something to occupy your time you should take up crocheting lol. Jess am glad to hear your cyano battle is winding down to an end. You get rid of yours- I get mine except in the form of green hair- not bad just one area but have to nip it in the bud before it gets any worse. Congrats on the cyano and on your LMB being happy and finding a den he likes!

Don't you just love you LMB? They are so cool. I wish my emeral crab survived. I may need to buy another one. I only saw my crab once before it died. lol. Sorry to hear about your clown. Are you going to try another one?
I may get one...My lfs has two little tiny cute maroon clowns for $30 for the pair...depending on how long they survive there and if someone doesn't buy them before I can I am probably going to go that route.

LOL crocheting. Thanks, I cut my light time almost in half and doing water changes. I think it's working :) I have a small patch of green hair algae, it scares me. I am hoping my little LMB goes after it, but so far he just likes the back glass. I guess I will be plucking it out manually.
