You may want to try chemiclean, it does a number on it and the times I used it noticed no adverse affects. It at least will get rid of it without all the manual removal.

So, I am moving at the end of May. And I am pretty terrified! LOL. But, i am upgrading to a 75 gallon with a built-in overflow. So, I have a plan....Let me know what ya'll think. I have the last week of may to move everything over.
-I am going to buy a 50 gallon trash can from the hardware store. And a smaller one, maybe 30 gallons.
-I am going to have the water mixed up and ready to go
-I am going to put the rocks in a seperate bucket, fish and coral in another.
-Not sure if I am going to keep the sand I have, I kinda hate it. May switch to fiji pink because it's so so pretty.
-And I think I am going to paint the back of the tank blue. I like the look of blue better.
any suggestions???? I am TERRIFIED!

I was going to go 75, but to go 90 it is only 4 inches deeper, and I am really glad I decided to go 90. I was worried that 24 inches would be to deep to work in, but it isn't that bad at all. If you don't already have the 75 you might look at the 90 predrilled too. Also, I went the 50 gallon trash can method for making water, the one I got which was a nice heavy duty one, didn't hold up well when it was about 3/4 full, so don't fill it up too full. I had the liverock out of the water for about 8 hours in rubbermades and seem to have avoided any noticable die off. Have fun.

Thanks! It has come a long way. Now I gotta go and move. LOL. My thread used to be only 15 pages long. But since the change I have 50 pages. Can't believe you read them all. That's a lot of reading. There are definitely a lot of smart people on here to help. I have learned a bunch from them.
