Nice tank. The way you stock your rock. You should put all ricordeas mushroom in there. I have an aquapod 2 and im gonna put rics on that tank. Right now i already have about 50 rics laying in my 120.
For whoever want to to buy an aquapod. Suggest get the one with built in metal hadlite. Those are nice.
My aquapod doesnt have a place for the skimmer. So im building a separat sump just to put the skimmer in. im waiting for my pumps to come in. Then i will be ready. Sooner Reefer where did u put the skimmer /????

Hey man, hows the tank hangin in for ya? Getting the salinity worked out I see? I would get the salinity of the tank filled to the brim, no evaporation yet, and aim for 1.025-6. With evap, it wont be too far out of reach and things will still like it. The hard part is trial and error. If you need help with anything, you know where I am.
Still working on it, and yes I know where to reach you. Don't have any questions because I already know what's going on after my 10g salinity problems.

I don't have a skimmer and it didn't come with one.
Well there's 0 flow for the cheato in the back, so I'm going to get another powerhead and stick it back there or move the cheato to the front and try and enclose it with some rocks.
I'm not happy with the tank, don't feel like there's enough filtration because I got a bunch of crap on the top of the water, so I may get a skimmer, who knows. I'm getting another power strip thing so I can run my second powerhead that's just sitting in there and my LED moonlights, and hopefully another skimmer. I don't think I'll be getting anything for another week or two because well quite frankly my tank isn't going so smooth. I've done 5g RO/DI top off the past week and my SG is still at 1.030 so now that i have an empty 5g bucket to do a water change in I'm going to do that with some other saltwater that's about SG: 1.017.

Well did a 5g water change and parameters are now:
SG:1.027-1.028
Phosphates:0
Calcium: Around 440
I got some algae going and this wierd kind but I'm going to get a clean up crew and some corals or a clam within a week. The corals should suck up the calcium and the inverts should take care of the algae.

I went to the lfs today and bought:
-2 Bangaii Cardinalfish
-1 Xenia stalk
-6 tiny zoa and mushroom frags
-1 Cleaner Shrimp
Got some algae but I think that's because of lack of flow in those areas. My Nitrates are 0 today, phosphates 0 yesterday, and my salinity is down to 1.025 which is nice.
Temp acclimating the corals and reg acclimating the fish then going to acclimate the shrimp once I got a free 2g bucket. I won't be home till tomorrow but I may be able to post pics today, if not then for sure tomorrow.

Since I had time while slowly acclimating my cleaner shrimp I got pics!
There aren't pics of the shrimp but I'll take some tomorrow or monday.
I'm dissappointed in the shrooms since they weren't attached to anything and they were floating around and find a no flow zone under some rocks (cave) so I stuck a small tiny rock under there so maybe they'll survive and make that a home.
Next time I'm going to get a colony of shrooms instead of individual frags unless I know for certain that they are attached to something, and again it was my mistake to buy them like that, but I didn't know. You live and learn and share.

just find a rock for the shrooms, get a rubberband, place the them where you wnat on the rock, rubberband them to the rock..and they will attach themselves..WALA

Only 2 problems:
1-I don't have a rubberband
2-I can't reach them without tearing apart my tank
If they come out I'll snatch them and I guess I'll get some rubberbands just in case tomorrow.

shoot your Powerheads to where they are and try and blow them out..
I bought some rubberbands but I wont be able to do anything till tomorrow. I'm not to worried because the pump isn't pulling too much water through the sump so they shouldn't get caught in there.

Those are some tasty new additions. Lovin the cardinals. Im sure theyll attach soon and be fine. Cant wait to see what morphs the zoos are too.

I'm anxious too. I just picked them out of the 5$ frag holder they have on the side of the tank since I wanted diversity and not just one 50$ coral colony in there.

Well I was at my dad's this weekend and the aquapod is at my mom's. We came over today to drop off a wagon (for me to carry stuff around for my mowing business) and replace the mower's blade, and I went in to check on everything. I found only 1 fish and everything else seemed fine. The xenia was doing good, the zoas were opened, and the mushrooms were still in the cave. I looked a bit harder and found the other fish dead on the ground. So I had to tear up the rocks to remove it further stressing my other fish out. Both were pretty skinny and I'm guessing they are juvinilles. 1/2 the rocks are out and me and my dad are heading out get a bit to eat and pack him up for his trip/work. I won't be able to further mess with my tank for another two hours. Hope everything works out, would really suck if I lost more money and fish/corals.

Well did re-aquascaping, got two of three mushrooms and attached them safely to a rock with a rubberband, and found two out of three zoas which are now safely on a ledge. Tried to feed cardinalfish pellets but the fish is cruising under the PH's so the flow wouldn't allow the pellets to reach it, so then I added a frozen block of krill which scattered and I saw him nip at it to test it out. Going to take a FTS pic later and test nitrates, phosphates, ammonia, and salinity.

SG-1.027 about
Nitrates, Phosphates, and Ammonia-0(guess the cheato is working)
Anyways I'm kinda worried about the fish not taking any food I'm offering and I'm worried about the food sitting there (glad I got cheato).
Pics are still downloading on Photobucket, will be up in a minute.

My cardinalfish:

Mushroom 1:(got three polyps attached to it)

Xenia:

Mushroom (I think it's a color morph but it's hard to see in the pic):
