OK. I flipped over to the U.S. Open for a while, came back to watch the finish, and saw Jr. win by the skin of his teeth. What I want to know is why Vickers was so mad. He said something about having a 7 second lead, then because of the white/checker finish, NASCAR told him to back down or get black flagged? Not sure of the exact statement, but it sounded like he felt NASCAR stole the race from him.
not from nascar, from the moron who spun out. Causing the green-yellow checkers I think.

I just looked at the video replay of his comments. It was an issue he had with Regan. He said he had like 7 seconds on the 8 car with 2 to go, and NASCAR told him "to let him go", whatever that means. So instead of being on target to pass Earnhart and Kahne, he got stuck behind Regan. Then when the first caution came out that almost cost Dale the race, it pretty much did him in. Vickers defintely had the car to beat.

Digi, My rank is 161,148 and I am in the 53rd percentile. What are your numbers? I am just kind of curious where I will be when I pass you?

So my last minute change of Travis Kvapil (60 points) instead of Brian Vickers (94 points) is looking to be super smart now huh?!

Bio, Brian said that he was 7 car lengths in front of the 8 car. I think what happened was that he passed the 8 car then the yellow came out. Since NASCAR sets the fleld by the last scoring loop my bet is that Vickers was behind the 8 car at the scoring loop, then passed him and the yello came out before they hit the next scoring loop. So NASCAR put him behind the 8 car at the restart.

Glad to see my favorite driver win, just not the one week I don't pick him

Terrible week in points for sixline madness.

WOW, 91. That is like being in the promised land. Too bad you did your road course early. FYI it IS this week. I have a problem with that because Robby Gordon will do well in the race, and I cannot stand anything about the guy. So I can't pick him.
I thnk GC did stop, either that or he does not understand the rules.
Ruben unfortunately "extrapolate" is too big of a word for me so you will just have to stay there in 10th

Just be glad I spelled it right! I like robby for the simple reason is he is the last owner driver out there.
I did the dirty and picked the 24 car. I feel like I've sold my soul to the devil.

What's not to like about Robby? He's a guy who likes to tell it like it is and race with every fiber of his being. Sure he gets hot headed, does some stupid things (throwing helmets, etc), but when you're footing the bills, there's a different prespective. I wonder if Jeff Gordon really still remembers what it's like to pay bills.
The fact Robby does plenty of other things like the Baja events is awesome and really shows the level of driver he is. Shame him and RCR didn't work out.

I have disliked Robby since before he was an owner/driver. He will be 7 laps down and not let the leader, or any lead lap car, past him. Of course when he is on the lead lap car and held up by a lapped car he gets pi$$ed off at the lapped car. He is also one of those drivers who gets into an accident and it is NEVER his fault, or even that it was "just one of those racing things". It is always the other guys fault.
I have no problem with drivers throwing helmets or showing emotion, but every once in awhile a driver will make a mistake and needs to say that it was their fault.

If you want to talk never at fault, who was the guy at talledega who carl edwards drove over when the guy pulled infront of the pack going like 80. Then he was interviewed and was like it isn't my fault.
Fortunately he changed his tune after he saw the tape.
yeah that is a good point about robby.

True enough. Robby is just one of those drivers that doesn't expect anything less out of himself nor the other competitors. I think his main problem is being usually mid-pack or worse gets him trapped with other drivers that usually can't handle a car as well as him. Like him pin them low, they don't back off as much as they should, then bam! crash...
Yea, now that they're showing the drivers the replay after the crash is awesome. Wasn't Kyle Busch the other one? (Not the 'Dega one, but a few busch races ago) Where he was frustrated at someone and then they showed him the crash and he said, "Well, I dunno...Guess it was me then..." or something to that effect?

Hmmmm, either some people have stopped playing, or they forgot to set their teams. Should make for an interesting week this week.

Dang it, forgot another week. Oh well, at least my usual drivers can actually hold their own on a road course
I'd be an idiot not to run Kasey as hot as he is right now and Harvick is a proven road course winner.
